Unit 2

Another thing we need to consider is the aspect of language learning for our students. Some repetition of topics from nursery--> prek and onward is necessary to learn the language needed to discuss the topics they are learning. We think that this could help kinder students feel more comfortable with English, so they are better prepared for the topics we teach.

También replantear cómo se ha venido enseñando y enfocarlo más a concpetos e intereses de los niños de esta edad.

Science/space based unit rather than individuals.

En segundo y tercero se ven lideres, especialmente se repiten en ingles.

Segundo y tercero ve derechos y responsabilidades debemos secuenciar para que no se repita.

- How we organize ourselves: central idea add: Our community influences and organizes how we act.

- Sharing the planet: consider changing or adding to central idea - Needs (who's?) determine patterns of behavior.

How Literature communicates a message through words and images.

Communication helps express ideas through words and images.

• Our emotions and how they shape our environment/culture (This one)

• The relationship between technology and science with measuring the effects and reducing the impact of weathering

• Structure and composition of the earth

• Patterns and evidence that explain evolution

But we also talked about how similar topics are covered in 3rd-6th around culture. The different specificities of culture need to be more clear through the grades so teachers know what to narrow in on

Reevaluate the standards, so it aligns with this idea.

The key concepts in this unit agree with the central idea; students were able to connect them with the lines of inquiry.

We agree on responsibility and causation because it helps students understand how our past reflects our present. We would like to change change for function.
