What did I do:

1. I created a free account on matesub.com

2. Later, I created a new project (Project name: Project1), added the details (pictures: 1-5) and the video file (picture 6), which is an excerpt from an episode of the 1670's series. I also picked the target language of subtitles (Polish-->English (United States) (pictures: 8,9).

3. Having the project created and subtitles generated, I performed the following actions:

   • I corrected the errors that occured during the generation of subtitles (grammar, punctuation, missing or misspelled words) (pictures: 11a-18b)

   • I merged some segments (pictures: 15c-15d)

   • I confirmed all segments (subtitles) (as in picture 20)

   • Finally, I exported .srt files with the subtitles to .zip file (pictures: 20a.-20b.), then unpacked it and added to the video file to check if it works.

4. Outcome: I learned how to use Matesub tool and generated the file with English subtitles (file).
