I chose Coldplay's song "Paradise" because I think it is a musical poem. The song is about hope and reflects on how, even when everything seems to be going wrong, there is always the possibility of reaching a better place. The melody is simple and sweet, while the lyrics are both full of hope and sadness, which represents the idea of the poem very well. Poetry is often associated with the concept of hope and finding a better place, and Coldplay's song is a perfect representation of that. The song is full of metaphors and symbols, which are key elements of the poem. Also, the music and lyrics come together to create an atmosphere of hope and sadness

U2 song "Ordinary Love" is one of the most beautiful songs of the very last phase of U2. Bono Vox's masterpiece was written and composed for the film Mandela - Long Walk to Freedom. in fact the piece is present in the soundtrack of the film, released in 2013. one reason why this song was written is also due to the close friendship that the famous band had with Nelson Mandela. The song is therefore not only dedicated to the film about the symbol of the struggle against apartheid in South Africa, but is generally a praise to Nelson Mandela and to unconditional love .For me this song can be considered poetry because it transmits a lot of bitterness in the text but at the same time the rhythm keeps everything a little more harmonious and not boring.

"Fragile" was wrote by Sting in 1988, it was dedicated to a man that died in Nicaragua by a terrorist group. This Song became very popular after the attack to the twin towers in the 9/11, the same evening he dedicated this song to all the victims of that tragedy. I think it can be considered poetry because the text is rich of meaningful words and it remembers to us how the thread of life is thin. This song make me fell sad because we know the purpose of this song that is to remember people who are no longer.
