Why is inhumane treatment of PoW still happening today?

The PoW are transported like animals and in inhumane conditions. Sadly, inhumane and poor treatment of innocent people still happens today, most notably in Gaza, where innocent Palestinians are killed, and those that are alive have no access to food, water, or healthcare.

He is able to answer all of them except for his love for Julia.

We think if the Party members weren't forced to repress their emotions they would sneakily corrupt the Party's system. Since they help adminstrate the propaganda amongst the Proles, they know of all the loopholes in the system.

Since O'Brien is part of the Inner Party, he can turn off his telescreen. The telescreen represents the "darkness" that O'Brien references in Chapter 3 when he says to Winston that they will meet in "a place with no darkness."
