However, Angelo retaliates, beating up Cyrus and rescuing Angela before making their escape.

The pursuit commences at this point. Trixie, Rosie, and Nino rushed to assist Angelo and Angela. But, Trixie was violently attacked, smashed her head against the fireplace, and killed by Cyrus, compelling them to leave her behind. As the last survivor, Nino is pursued by Cyrus into the attic under the basement. There, Cyrus hums a lullaby, echoing the spirits of Leslie, Evan, Rodel, Christina, and others, the same lullaby heard in the first episode of "Echo"—in an attempt to lure the terrified Nino. In a dying breath, Angelo, severely wounded, defeats Cyrus by slashing in the chest and killing him with a samurai sword, sacrificing himself to save his brother's life. Despite Cyrus's demise, the haunting lullaby continues, leaving Nino to witness the eerie conclusion, ultimately leading to his demise. Nino mourns and expresses sorrow for Angelo's stab wounds. In Angelo's final moments, he imparts some last words to Nino: "You've got to be a good boy, take care of yourself, and don't let them turn you into someone like me." Nino promises his brother that he will fulfill his wishes. Afterwards, Angelo dies in Nino's arms.

"Epilogue"

After the tragic fate of his mother and siblings concludes, it serves as the epilogue to "Mirror," the interlude to "Luxury," and the prologue to "Echo." It turns out that Nino survived and became an orphan. Placed with an adoption agency, he undergoes a changing his name from Nino to Martin (the same Martin in "Echo"). Martin is raised and adopted by therapist Dr. Jennylyn Holloway.

As he grows up, Martin leaves for Los Angeles, California, where he attends college. He dedicates five years to pursuing a degree in Architecture. Upon graduation, he returns to his hometown pays tribute to Dr. Jennylyn's red-bidden illness, and passes away, leaving his inheritance. Martin is now a junior architect who works at St. Angelo's Interior Design and Architectural Company. It is revealed that Leslie's old penthouse, his childhood home, was demolished, and in its place, an architectural office building was erected 10 years ago. The spirits haunting the St. Angelo Interior Design and Architectural Company are the same ghosts that once haunted Nino/Martin's old residence.

As Nino/Martin drives with Melissa's body to his brother Angelo's dream house, a scene previously seen in "Mirror," he is still plagued by guilt.

Martin becomes delusional, convincing himself that his mother Rosie, siblings Angelo and Angela, and his girlfriend Melissa are still alive. He pretends to have "Thanksgiving" dinner with his entire family again. Angelo and Angela try to reason with Martin, telling him that he can't hold onto them like this. It turns out Nino/Martin is carrying on the entire conversation in his head towards Rosie, Angelo, and Angela, who are now spirits after being murdered, feeling very lonely, and talking to himself. Melissa is truly dead as she sits in the chair. So the spirits of Angelo and Angela hug Nino and continue to enjoy their dinner.

At the end, Martin imagines that he hears Melissa whispering his name. As he leans in closer, Melissa suddenly awakens from her unconscious state and attacks, ultimately killing Martin.
