3- When Evaline and Mina entered in the ladies lounge they were looking for any traces of face powder, when they  found one of the Lady Cosgrove-Pitt butterfly decorations of her  clothing, when Miss Holmes started examining it, she smelled vainilla, just like the facial powder.
