Coincidentally, I thought of speaking of her before the live session. I like how in the end of the books / movies, she is left emotionally scarred and suffers a lot to the point she is completely broken. 2) I think Mulan is a good example of a movie or story that follows the hero's journey. 

Indeed, Mulan decides to join the army instead of her father because he is too old. She takes his equipment and runs away. She pretends to be a man and trains to fight the war against the Huns who have invaded China. She goes through many hardships but ends up being the main reason for the defeat of the Huns and thus saves the dynasty. Mulan is therefore the perfect example of a hero, and at the same time shows the emancipation and power of women.
