One cause for fatigue is lack of blood supply or flow. Fatigue can also be caused by an illness. Fatigue can effect the brain  by slowing down its processes. 
Fatigue also effects the immune system, for it weakens it and makes the body less capable of fighting off an illness. Testing for fatigue can include running test on the blood to see if the fatigue is hormone related.

A dialysis machine and an artificial kidney are used to clean the blood. The doctor makes an entrance into the blood vessels through minor surgery to get the blood into the dialyzer. Then the dialyzer filtrates the blood. The dialyzer has two parts, one for the blood and one for a washing fluid that filtrates the wastes. Blood cells, protein, and other important things remain in the blood because they are too  big to pass through the membrane. Smaller waste products like urea, potassium, and extra fluid pass through the membrane and are washed away.

Carries low risk of infections, can be done at home or at a persons own convenience. Low risk of complications.
Cons of using this invention
Diet and fluid restrictions must be taken seriously.
