When we went back to in person school I actually tried. I then finished the school year with honor roll.

I failed because I did not try in the class at all. I finished the first semester of 7th grade with a 1.75 GPA. In the 2nd semester I started to actually try. I finished the year with a 2.5 GPA.

This relates to my theme because it shows that when I did not try I did not get what I wanted, but when I did try I actually did good and got what I wanted.
