Due: Monday 01 March

1. Annotate this text.

2. Find and underline r's. (Letter r)

3. Do it out loud.

Monologue:
Here’s the thing – I never meant for you to find out. Sorry if that’s hard to hear. But it’s actually the truth. I thought we were just going to keep on going like we always have, and you would never know and never need to know. But yes, you’re right, I see now that was not a workable plan. It was a terrible idea. You’re absolutely correct.

Now that you know, though….I don’t know, maybe this is crazy, but what if we just…kept going? I know, I know, I know, I’m being stupid, it’s borderline insane, it won’t work, it’s wrong, I’m a liar, we shouldn’t. We can’t.

But maybe we can? Hear me out. No, listen, just listen. I think we can make it work. You’re smart. You’re really smart. You’re way smarter than me. You’d never make the mistakes I made. Or get caught unawares.

I honestly can’t believe I never thought of this before. You’re absolutely perfect for this. You could probably get away with anything.

Okay look. It’s been a crazy couple of days, and I’m not going to convince you overnight, I see that. Just think it over. I’ll be next door ordering a martini. Or two. Or four. And when you’re ready to talk….call me.
