As the greatest mentors I had on campus, to say I was overwhelmed with joy, is an understatement. I received all the welcomed advice for my new role and I could hear him through the words he wrote (words are such a beautiful thing but even more so when they are constructed to let you know someone is alive and well!) Reading his advice, crying tears of joy, I realized that he was a teacher on this campus, someone who I still look to for guidance. I was floored at the realization that as a teacher, I potentially have that power too now. I digress, but I got a very nice video that tied it all together that I linked here. And to bring it full circle, the story in the video was written by a Ms. Ballard!
