That a larger motor planning cortex generally meant greater beat perception.&nbsp;<br>Also the kids with music gained consistently, and it aided not just music, but other skills.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Music, just like exercise, is another activity that stimulates healthy brain growth and development. Even if a student isn't necessarily 'good' at music, they can still benefit from practicing it.&nbsp;<br>I also find it interesting that as humans we do not have a way of measuring brain growth aside from standardized testing. People are so much more than just a test score and it would be interesting to see how students who don't test well in typical areas like reading and writing, what their brain growth truly is.</div>]]></description>
