To me, the "Bro Hug" is simply another form of greeting one another, between two males.
However, I feel like the whole idea of it being "... more aggressive than greeting a woman..." could also imply that it is a "gender norm".
That when a man greets another man via "Bro-Hugging", it should be more aggressive in comparison to how a man would greet a woman.
