In Lisbon in 1755 was big earthquake, that caused a lot of damage to city and it inhabitants, because of that architecture of city had changed and only few gorgeous, historical buildings had left.

I’ve learned how ro speak english better and more confidently. There was a big disaster in 1755. It was caused by an earthquake. I’ve also learned that Portugal has a much different culture than ours.

I didn’t know that Lisbon was that big of a city. I also didn’t know that they have those kind of audio devices for disabled people. I didn’t know that the students of Portugal spend most of their time outside.

I was satisfied with the amazing people. The hostel food was good. I really liked the aquarium and the Jeronimos Monastery. The weather was really nice and I really liked our free time when we could to whatever we wanted.

Less presentations. More sunny days and the project should have been longer. Wasn’t really a fan of the school food should have had the lunch somewhere else. More activities a better plan.

Lisbon is built on 7 hills, there was an earthquake in 1755, then big fires and tsunami. That’s why 80% of city was damaged.

Lisbon is a beautiful city and Portuguese people are nice and warm.
Also, I have learnt that English is the perfect language to speak to foreign people and I have had the feeling our students have been confident enough to express their opinions using it.

There were amphibious vehicles.

It was a surprising  experience to be able to get inside the Hippo bus and go across river Tagus ; surprisingly,after that we were able to be driven through Lisbon city center ,getting to know the most important monuments and famous spots.

The duration of our stay in Lisbon.
It would have been interesting to have some more time to spend there to get to know each other better and establish stronger links.
