<title>1. Forms Of Collective Behavior ( Rumors) Jimmy and the Avengers Play Telephone This video is a perfect example of how rumors can get out of hand and really cause some harm to somebody. This video shows the movie stars from &quot; The Avengers&quot; playing telephone and each person adds their own twist to it where at the end of the line, the original rumor went in a whole new direction. The book states that this happens, &quot; As the story circulates, each person distorts the account by dropping some items and adding his or her own interpretation.&quot; (Thio, P.410) </title>

<title>2. A Global Analysis of Social Change (Is The United States in Decline?) Image result for us ranks among other countriesI chose this fact sheet because it shows clearly how the U.S. may in fact be in trouble. The United States nowhere near the top on these important categories while many 2nd world countries are and it seems to be trending in that direction. &quot; If the trends in national indebtedness, inadequate productivity increases, mediocre educational performance, and decaying social fabric in the United States.&quot; (Thio, P. 416) </title>

<title>3. Functional Perspective Gradual Change (Equilibrium Theory) I chose this website because it gives examples of the equilibrium theory is all aspects of society. It is important to know what each person&#39;s purpose is in our community so we can help one another and keep a constant flow with society. The chapter explains, &quot;A change in one part produces compensatory changes elsewhere.&quot; (Thio, P. 419) </title>

<title>4. Conflict Perspective: Revolutionary Change ( Capitalist Society) &quot;Capitalist production, therefore, develops technology, and the combining together of various processes into a social whole, only by sapping the original sources of all wealth - the soil and the labourer.&quot; - Karl Marx (Links to an external site.)I chose this quote because it is a perfect example of Marx&#39;s description of capitalism. The book explains something similar to the quote, &quot;a capitalist society includes 2 classes: 1. the owners of the means of production, 2. those who must sell their labor.&quot; (Thio, P. 419) </title>

<title>5. Symbolic Interactionist Perspective: Changing Interaction (Symbolic Interactionism) I chose this photo to show the most simple way of symbolic interactionism. Two girls simply having routine statements and questions about each other. It relates to the chapter by sating how each person interacts with one another in a way each individual can express themselves in a way they want to be seen. </title>

<title>6. How U.S. Society has Changed Since 1970&#39;s ( Woman&#39;s Wages Throughout The Decades) This chart shows how society&#39;s push for social change has affected woman&#39;s wages throughout many years. In a time where kids mostly rely on both parents for supplying money in the household, woman have taken a huge responsibility. One that has been overdue for decades. The book explains how both the mom and the dad&#39;s wages has gone up as more supply and demand go through our world. &quot; The U.S. economy is more prosperous than before.&quot; (Thio, P. 421) </title>

<title>7. What The Future Will Be Like (Baby Boomers) I chose this picture/meme because i wanted to poke fun at the many baby boomers that are on the brink of retirement and letting the newer generations fix the mistakes that generation did, well at least we&#39;re going to try to fix em. The book predicts that in the next 10 years, baby boomers will be at retirement age and will hand over the keys to the car to the young generation. This really is a big topic when it comes to see what our future has in store. </title>
