         <description><![CDATA[<p>Pg. 205- Barley any food but got offered a job in Oklahoma</p><p>Pg. 207- Melba was sad she wasn't apart of her old friend group from her old school</p><p>Pg. 207- They printed her mom's story on the newspaper</p><p>Pg. 208- Melba getting taunted for her mom losing her job</p><p>Pg. 209- Was assigned a personal body guard for the first time in 4 months</p><p>Pg. 210- Mother got her job back</p><p>Pg. 211- The bodyguard is only doing his job because he has to, not because its right</p><p>Pg. 213- The last day of school was very underwhelming</p><p>Pg. 214- Wrote down the names of people she didn't like and burned them</p><p>Pg. 214- Not allowed to go to graduation</p><p>Pg. 215- felt selfish for wanting to go because she didn't want to take the guard's attention away from Ernie, then prayed that Ernie would walk the stage safely</p><p>Pg. 216- No one clapped for Ernie when he walked the stage</p><p>Pg. 217- Link cried because Nana Healy died on his graduation day and didn't want Melba to leave him and to come to college with him</p><p>Pg. 217- Flew everywhere, and it was like being a celebrity</p><p>Pg. 218- All Little Rock high schools closed</p><p>Pg. 219- Grandma died of leukemia on October 24th</p><p>Pg. 220- Carlotta Walls and Jefferson Thomas were the only other black students to graduate</p><p>Pg. 220- Attended San Fransisco State University</p><p>Pg. 221- Married a guy named John 6 months after their first date, then later on got divorced 7 years later because she didn't have what he wanted</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>
