In this semester I learned many things that I didn't know before and this course helped me understand the human body. It also showed me the depth of how the body works in different situations. Even though it is a lot of information, if you pay attention in class you will not find it as hard, but that is just me. In this project I learned many things about skin cancer and we even discovered an app that can help you detect skin cancer. Overall this was a good semester because it made me feel as if I was studying to become a doctor. This also made me think that I will probably will not be a doctor. This semester we saw a lot of topics and even though they were complicate the teacher managed to teach them in a way that I could understand better. Because of this projects I got to learn a lot of the integumentary system and about skin cancer. Thanks to this course I now know a lot more about my body, how to diagnose some symptoms, how to take a better care of my body and some preventions I should and will take to have a better quality of life and to be healthy. I also learned a lot of consequences that little things like not putting on sunblock or not washing your face can cause. After having this biology class and making this project I feel more connected to my body, now I rethink my decisions whenever I go out to the sun and not wear sunblock. Before we interviewed the doctor I would usually go out without any sunblock and stay there more than three hours. During the interview, I learned a lot of things about skin cancer and now whenever I go out I have the urge to use sunblock also when I see someone walking I remember all the things that could happen to them and their skin.
