         <description><![CDATA[<div>I was in History class when i found out about this. <br>Did you know that Singapore actually had a government governing it? I actually did not know anything about Singapore before 1819.<br>Actually in 1347, Seri Teri Buana was succeeded by Seri Wikrama Wira. His reign marks the first attempt of the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siam">Siamese</a> to subjugate the island kingdom. As recorded by Wang Dayuan in 1349, a Siamese fleet consisted of 70 junks descended upon the island kingdom. The heavily fortified city managed to withstand the siege of the Siamese until the fleet fleeing with the arrival of Chinese ships.<br>And S<strong>ang Nila Utama</strong> is a <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Srivijaya">Srivijayan</a> prince from <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palembang">Palembang</a> said to have founded the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingdom_of_Singapura">Kingdom of Singapura</a> in 1299.<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sang_Nila_Utama#cite_note-1"><sup>[1]</sup></a><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sang_Nila_Utama#cite_note-2"><sup>[2]</sup></a> His official title adopted upon his coronation, was <strong>Sri Maharaja Sang Utama Parameswara Batara Sri Tri Buana</strong>, which can be translated as "Central Lord King of the Three Worlds".<br>And also from the 7th to the 13th centuries, the island of Singapore was controlled by the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Srivijaya">Srivijaya</a> empire based in <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sumatra">Sumatra</a>.
