In the USA, every commercial pool owner needs to be compliant with commercial pool standards set by the government. These standards are paramount for the safety and success of your aquatic facility operations. Apart from appointing certified swimming pool lifeguards, you need to follow the following pool safety guidelines to provide a fun and safe environment. 

  • Pool owners must ensure to have all necessary safety equipment including rescue tubes, lifeguard stations, coast guard approved life jackets, supplement oxygen, first aid kit, a spinal board with head & neck supports etc. 

  • Check local ordinances and codes for safety requirements and make all arrangements accordingly. 

  • You must use non-slip materials for the pool deck, steps, diving board and ladders.
