A massive murdering was happening during 2004 in Rwanda. It first started because of the entry of belgian. They ruled the country and later left the country and also gave the Tutsi the most power. Tutsi uses this to do many things against the hutus. But the hutus weren’t happy about this and later they started to realize they have more people, so they decided to protest by starting to kill as many Tutsis as possible.

I never knew about this war against these 2 tribes until now. I learnt about the cruelty of tutus and the things that they did are NOT right.

The thing that angered me the most was the belgian. Why can they rule this country? Why can they decide the things that they wanted? And belgian is also the only reason that this war between the tribes even started. 

3) I learned that even though the genocide was over, there were still victims who suffered from the repercussions. They attended to countless counsels and needed a lot of time to heal. Some surviving victims couldn't heal from the pain and possibly committed suicide.

4) The thing that shocked me was that a mother's love for her children doesn't always come naturally. A mother can attempt to kill her child because she didn't get pregnant with her own permission.

In 1994, a horrible civil war occurred in Rwanda, terrible murders were caused continuously for 100 days, also known as the Rwandan Genocide. There were two "ethnics" in Rwanda, Tutsi and Hutu. Tutsi were the superior and Hutu were the minor. The Hutu rebelled and killed tons of Tutsi. It lasted because of a militia's support, but approximately one-tenth of the country's population was eliminated.

I learned that race bias can cause terrible disasters and murders such as genocides.

I am interested in the fact people believe random information from random people. (The Tutsi/Hutu believed the Germans/Belgians about race bias.)

One thing new: The Hutu government excluded and oppressed the Tutu military, and Gacaca courts were established to expedite the trials, resulting in 1.7 million convictions.

 Explain one thing that shocked/saddened/interested/angered you:  I am shocked by the Rwandan genocide. Reflection on the Rwandan genocide is a poignant reminder of the consequences of hatred, bigotry, and indifference, and highlights the importance of urging tolerance.

A new thing : People in the world all have a selfish side , the colonists killed innocent people for their own benefit.

One thing that shocked me: By 1962, when Rwanda gained independence, 120,000 people, primarily Tutsis, had taken refuge in neighboring states to escape the violence which had accompanied the gradual coming into power of the Hutu community.

Summary: In Rwandan Genocide, during period of 100 days, members of the Tutsi minority ethnic group, as well as some moderate Hutu and Twa, were killed by armed Hutu militias. Created that Tutsi as a ruler, Hutu as a farmers. The main cause of this problem is: “Hutu rule resulted in widespread discrimination against Tutsi, laying the groundwork for the 1994 genocide.”

I learned that people can divide thing into a group of rulers and a group of farmers.

I was Shocked by this Genocide, why does the government or something let Tutsi be the ruler and Hutu be the Farmers?

Hutu extremists massacred over 800,000 people in Rwanda in one hundred days and it happened 25 years ago. The two main ethnic groups targeted in the genocide were the Tutsi and the Hutu. The Tutsi have taken control of the nation. Although the Hutus make up 85% of the population, they still don't have as much power as the Tutsi. Because of the arrival of European colonists in the late 1800s, the Hutus ousted the Tutsi and forced them into countries beside them. The president of the Hutu was on a plane and it was shot. Because of that, the Hutus started violence which killed about 8,000 Tutsis every day.

The consequences when a genocide happens and how it affects the people and the whole society.

Both groups decided to use violence to solve the problem but not sit together and talk about it to have a better solution.

Tutsi and Hutu are the two race in Rwanda, and because of the Tutsi were more favored over the Hutus, and were given privileges and education. In 1959, the Hutus rebelled against the Belgian colonial power and the Tutsi; they quarreled more and more fiercely, and until 1994, the Rwanda genocide started, two sides murdered, trafficking, etc. This genocide lasted for 100 days, and only for 100 days, there were 800,000 deaths for Tutsi.

In the Rwanda genocide, I learned that people can have conflict or war because of being jealous or having a different race.

One thing that shocked me

The one thing that shocked me is that genocide causes lots of deaths, and it's scary. In the Rwanda genocide, just 100 days and cause about 800,000 deaths.
