Here are some of the library databases that we will introduce on Wednesday (2/20):

Searchasaurus and Grolier Online Kids

1.Do some practice searches in each database with a science topic that interests you.

2. Describe which kinds of information they contain. (news articles, magazine articles, ebooks, encyclopedia articles?)

3. What is the difference between HTML full text and pdf full text?

4. Tell me which database seems to have stronger coverage (more articles) of your topic.

5. Include questions or comments about what you learned.

the diffrence between HTMl is it has no pictures its smaller words and it gives you a small paragraph about that topic PDf has pictures about whats happening in the story and gives u moe info

The diffrence between HTML and Pdf is PDf has pictures and HTML has the same text but it's typed up.

Searchasaurus includes lots of helpful tools like, a dictionary, encylopedia, pictues,articles,magizines, which is very helpful for our ideas.

Yes, Kaitlyn, the pdf full text is like someone took a photo of the whole page. The HTML is just text and is computer coded.
