Roa (born in 1975) is the pseudonym of the Belgian urban artist. It is world famous for its giant animal frescoes. He usually paints black and white with brushes and aerosol cans. In 2008, he began to paint giant rats in an abandoned warehouse in Ghent, his home town2. Roa is a globe-trotter and painted in Australia3, the United States, Africa and Europe. He has also exhibited his works outside the urban space, in galleries such as the Skalitzers gallery in Berlin, the Form gallery in Perth, the Pure Evil Gallery in London, the Puppy Gallery in Los Angeles and the Backwoods Gallery in Melbourne.
