This multi-genre is about the different genres that are seen to help the story, Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare play out more completely. In this project, I will be going more in-depth about these genres to show how they play out the story and overall message. Although these genres don't directly like one another, some can be set to lead to another so each genre will be in chronological order.

This scene is from one of the many movie adaptations of Romeo and Juliet. In this scene, I thought that conflict played a big role in how the mood was set between the Capulet family and the Montagues. This can be seen in this scene, Tybalt is tempted heavily to go kill Romeo, because he "can't stand" the Montagues, showing their true emotions after er seeing one.

This wanted poster I made for Romeo in "Romeo and Juliet" vividly illustrates the theme of conflict between the Montague and Capulet families. Tybalt's vehement declaration of Romeo as "DISGUSTING" underscores the deep-seated animosity between the two clans, while the promise of "tons of riches" for his capture hints at the materialistic motivations underlying the feud.

In the diary entry, conflict permeates Romeo's narrative as he grapples with the aftermath of Tybalt's death, symbolizing the clash between love and hate, passion and reason. The internal conflict within Romeo reflects the external feud between the Montagues and Capulets, highlighting the destructive nature of vendetta and the tragic consequences it begets. Through his words, we witness the turmoil of a soul torn between loyalty to family and devotion to love, encapsulating the timeless theme of conflict that permeates Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet".

In Baz Luhrmann's "Romeo + Juliet" and Franco Zeffirelli's "Romeo and Juliet," both adaptations depict the iconic balcony scene with Romeo professing his love to Juliet under the moonlit night. However, Luhrmann's modern adaptation infuses the scene with vibrant energy, set against the backdrop of a bustling cityscape, with rapid camera movements and contemporary music adding a sense of urgency and passion. In contrast, Zeffirelli's classic rendition offers a more traditional interpretation, set in a serene garden, with a slower pace and emphasis on the poetic dialogue between the lovers, capturing the timeless romance of Shakespeare's words amidst a picturesque backdrop of nature.
