Electrical energy is energy carried by charged particles. Electrical energy is also called electricity. Chareged particles can build up on a object. This creates stored electric energy (static electricity). Charged particles can move from one place to another. This creates moving electrical energy (electrical currents). Electrical currents move along a path called a circuit. Electrical appliances and devices can harness this energy by hooking up to the circuit.

Thermal energy is associated with temperature. Matter is made of tiny particles called atoms. Atoms are always vibrating. The faster the particles vibrate, the hotter the temperature of matter. A hot oobject has more thermal energy than a cold object. The amount of thermal energy in a substance has to do with the substance's temperature as well as the amount of matter in that substance.

All types of electromagnetic radiation have energy. For this reason, light energy is more accurately called radiant energy. Infrared, radio waves, UV lights and x-rays are other types of electromagnetic radiation that have radiant energy.

Chemical energy is energy stored within the bonds between atoms of matter. It is used to keep atoms bonded together. The bonds between atoms in food and fuel store a lot of chemical energy. When a person diests food, the bonds break and chemical energy is released. When fuel is burned, the bonds break and chemical energy is released.

Yes, Energy can change. I know that this is true because of a Phet lab that we did where you had to find out what types of energy there was through the experiment since some of the energy would change. An example of this would be lightning hitting a tree. It would first start off as electrical energy but when it hits the tree it would turn into thermal energy and the tree would catch fire.

No, energy cannot be created nor destroyed. I know that this is false because of the Law of conservation of mass which is simmillar to the Law of conservation of energy where it stated that "energy cannot be created nor destroyed". But this also goes with Matter. An example for this would be a ball hitting another object. It would put the same amount of energy that the ball had into the object

When you have an outlet connected to a device to help it power it up that device may need more than just electrical energy the outlet might carry thermal energy because sometime the plug gets hot.

I know this because in the picture of the phet lab the chemical energy moving through the girl gets put into the bike which turns it into mechanical energy then the mechanical energy turns into Electrical energy from the wheel to power up the heater to turn into thermal energy to heat up the water
