Title: Music That Keeps Me Going

Whenever school gets stressful, I play Taylor Swift’s song “Shake It Off” to lift my mood. The line “’Cause the players gonna play, play, play, play, play” is an intertextual reminder to stay confident and ignore negativity. It always reminds me that I can’t control others, but I can control how I respond. Listening to music helps me relax and focus better on my studies. I even found an article on UMGC https://www.umgc.edu/blog/how-music-can-help-you-study that explains how music reduces stress and boosts concentration. This proves that songs can inspire both emotional balance and academic focus. For me, music isn’t just background noise—it’s my daily source of motivation. You can play her songs in spotify https://open.spotify.com/track/5xTtaWoae3wi06K5WfVUUH

The Notebook A Movie Review

"Behind every great love is a great story". This line from Nicholas Spark's novel— The Notebook. The Notebook (2004) is directed by Nick Cassavetes based on Nicholas Spark's book, and it is one of the most iconic romances in the early 2000s starring Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling. The film tells the heartbreaking story of Noah and Allie— two people with different social backgrounds who find themselves bound by unbreakable connections. The film follows Noah, a working-class young man, and Allie, a wealthy woman, whose summer romance is threatened by her parent's disapproval and life's circumstances, and the story starts with an elderly man reading a novel to a woman in a nursing home, showing how love can last even when memories fade. You can learn more about the film here on IMDb. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0332280/

The Notebook is simple yet has a powerful message— that love is not just about feelings, but about commitment and choice, because even when things get hard, Allie and Noah keep on choosing each other again and again, and this idea reminds me of the quote, “Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope,” by Maya Angelou. The movie also explores the bittersweet side of the love story, where Noah writes Allie every day for a year, which is beautiful yet heartbreaking, showing that his love for her is patient and willing to wait. Overall, the film is not just a romantic film but a story about the power of enduring love, and whether you're a hopeless romantic or not, this movie will definitely make you sob.

Leni Robredo’s leadership reminded many Filipinos of the kind of governance seen in Pasig under Mayor Vico Sotto—clean, transparent, and focused on public service. Both leaders prioritized data-driven decisions and community engagement, proving that politics doesn’t have to be dirty to be effective. As Vico once said in an interview, “We’re not here to be popular. We’re here to do what’s right,” a sentiment that echoes Robredo’s own mantra of servant leadership. This Rappler article: https://www.rappler.com/philippines/elections/vico-sotto-track-record-pasig-city-mayor/ highlights how Vico’s administration broke away from decades of traditional politics, much like how Robredo’s campaign inspired a new wave of civic participation. Their shared values show that integrity in government isn’t just possible—it’s powerful. In a time when many feel disillusioned, leaders like Robredo and Sotto prove that hope can be practical.

Despite the constant bashing of Leni Robredo and her supporters, known as Kakampinks, she continues to serve with quiet strength and dedication. Now back as a private citizen and leading the Angat Buhay Foundation (https://www.angatbuhay.ph/), Robredo proves that leadership doesn’t end with a title. Even when she was Vice President, many overlooked her efforts, yet she quietly launched programs in education, health, and disaster response. Now, as she continues her advocacy in Naga and beyond, Robredo shows that true public service is not about power—it’s about purpose. Her story reminds us that hope doesn’t fade; it finds new ways to shine.

Tumindig at Patuloy na Tumitindig!

One of the most heartwarming movies that I've ever watched since I was a child is the Movie "UP" by Pixar. This film reminds me of the quote which is "Adventure is out there!" which reflects me the importance to chase our dreams no matter how old we are. This line is an Intertextual text because it reminds me and motivates me to never give up on our goals ever though there are some nuisances that we encounter in life. Carl and Russell's journey makes me to value the friendships, and how unexpected people can make our lives so much better by just being there while reflecting on this movie, I found an inspiring article from pinerest.org about finding happiness through gratitude and new experiences. Like in Carl and Russells journey, I've learned that sometimes, adventure are not found in distant places, but in the people we meet in our experiences and the simple joys from them that we should cherish everyday

https://www.pinerest.org/newsroom/articles/finding-happiness-through-gratitude-blog/

Whenever I feel tired, I listen to “Fight Song” by Rachel Platten, which reminds me that “this is my fight song, take back my life song.” That line motivates me to keep pushing forward even when things get hard. It’s an intertextual reference because it connects my feelings to the message of the song. I also read an article from www.healthline.com that explains how music can improve your mood and reduce stress. I totally agree because listening to music helps me calm down and think clearly. Music truly gives me energy and strength, especially when life feels overwhelming.

In every sports, there is someone who inspires you the most. At my POV there is a man who become my inspiration to take a step to the sports that I wanted, and that is Lebron James who considered a king in basketball history. How ironic is his jersey number is 23, while my birthday date is also 23 which for me, we have in common, like Romulus and Remus reborn. Additionally he is the GOAT for me, because becoming a legend, one of the greatest, the only person who reach 40,000 points in basketball history and the becoming the king and one above all in the highest basketball association is so amazing!!. I remember when he says “ You never get used to the pressure, you just learn to embrace it, expectation aren’t a burden, they’re privilege, because it could be worse, no one expect anything at all” this quote always resonate to my ears everytime I played and every time I feel pressure. So basically Lebron is the one of my foundation and he played a crucial role in shaping my skills and embracing my passion. And troughout this I discover the site that helps me or even you to keep motivated in the time we feel burden, discourage and doesn’t want to continue https://share.google/NvY40SS0nUsHfDGGo. I write this simply because an appreciation message for my idol that is nearly facing a retirement, well if Lebron retired I am the one who proud to says " You are my purpose why I love Basketball", and Lebron is not a only a player, he is a hero for someone.

Lebron might be not the GOAT for everyone, he might have many bashers, he might have weaknesses but for me he is the greatest player who entered in a basktetball league and no one ever can change my mind. You might be discourage but passion keeps your flame still alive but without a purpose, your passion might be burden. You can find how I can simply says Lebron is the greatest here https://share.google/0D4QiPIDaSN6c8I5N

One movie that really touched my heart is 20th Century Girl. It's a horean movie that tells the story of a teenage girl who expiernees her first love while triying to protect her bestfriend's heart. What I love the most about this movie is how it shows the innocence of young love, friendship, and the bittersweet of growing up and memories can shape who we become. It reminds me of the line from Your Name"You'll never know. You were my dream" which connects to the Film's message about love that stays even when time and distance seperate people, this intertexual reference fits perfectly with the main characters feelings as she looks back on her past with both warmth and sadness. Watching 20th Century Girl made me realize that some people come into our lives for only a short time, but the memories they leave behind can last Fonever. https://variety.com/2022/film/reviews/20th-century-girl-review-1235411094/

Title: A Love That Never Sinks

The Titanic movie is one of the most unforgettable movies I’ve ever watched. The line “I’ll never let go” is an intertext that really touched my heart because it shows true love and loyalty. Even though Jack and Rose came from different worlds, they showed that love has no boundaries. The movie taught me that sometimes, real love means sacrifice and letting go when you have to. I also realized how short life can be, so we should spend it with the people we love most. The scene of the ship sinking made me emotional because it shows how unpredictable life is. Whenever I want to read more about the film and its history, I visit https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120338/

Titanic isn’t just a love story; it’s a reminder that some people leave, but their love stays forever.

The Healing Power of Stories in The Fall

One of the most visually stunning and emotionally moving films I have watched is The Fall, directed by Tarsem Singh. The story follows a young girl named Alexandria and a stuntman who is bedridden in a 1920s Los Angeles hospital. As he recovers, he tells her a detailed fantasy story that reflects his own emotional pain. The film connects to One Thousand and One Nights because, like Scheherazade, the stuntman uses storytelling to cope with suffering. It also reminds me of Pan’s Labyrinth and Life of Pi, where imagination helps characters survive trauma. This idea is supported by a [Psychology Today article titled "The Healing Power of Storytelling"](https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/un-numb/202312/the-healing-power-of-storytelling), which explains how stories help people process emotional wounds and find meaning. Because of this, I see The Fall as more than a visually beautiful film; it is a powerful reminder that stories can bring healing and hope.

I also read article on Medium (https://medium.com/@amrutha.balachandran/the-unexpected-friendship-c58659b63293)

that unexpected friendships are effortless, genuine connections built on comfort, understanding, and the feeling of being accepted without judgment.
Embracing Your Light and Dark Sides

Everyone experiences moments of strength and moments of struggle. Sometimes, we try so hard to fix ourselves or hide the parts of us that feel weak, thinking we have to be okay all the time. But the truth is, we all carry both light and dark inside us. One of my favorite quote from Sirius Black in Harry Potter that really stuck with me, "We all got both light and dark inside us." It reminds me that it's natural to have good and bad feelings inside, and that both are naturally part of who we are. Another quote that means a lot to me is, "The ones that love us never really leave us." Even though someone we love is gone, their love stays with us and comfort us in ways we might not always see. When life feels overwhelmed or exhausted, I feel comfort in re-watching that movie over and over. But beside watching that movies, I find another source of comfort for me is reading personal stories on apps like medium. These stories are honest and relatable. They show that other people struggle too, and they don't have all the answers either. Reading how others overcome their challenges, step by step, reminds me that it's okay not to be okay sometimes, and that healing is a journey. One article I read really hits me. It talked about always telling others to be strong, until realizing that admitting weakness is okay too. This article helped me to understand that vulnerability is not weakness it's part of healing and growing. It encouraged me to be kinder to myself and accept my whole self. So, if you're struggling today know that it's okay. You are not alone.

In school life, the challenges I face can often feel draining, but through God's presence, I find the strength and courage to keep going. One of my favorite songs, Daniel Caesar’s “Blessed”, expresses this with the line “if you were not surrounding me with me your energy, I don't wanna be there”, showing how important God's support is to our well-being. When I feel lost, tired, or hopeless, these words remind me that being surrounded by divine love is truly a blessing. This kind of song opens my mind to deep understanding and hope during difficult times, providing comfort when I needed it most. This type of song and support helps me persevere through long school days, stressful exams, and moments of doubt. Faith and knowledge together make the journey through school and life more hopeful, brighter, and more meaningful every day. Here's Daniel Caesar's song "Blessed" you can listen here :https://open.spotify.com/track/2XjoHA58XD0t3qye8bYGU8

Title: Magnifico

The movie Magnifico is inspiring because of the kindness traits shown by the main character who named Magnifico. I admire how Magnifico helps others without expecting anything in return, showing that kindness knows no boundaries. One of the most heartbreaking scenes was when he built a coffin for his grandmother, not to prepare for her death, but to lessen the problem of his family about money. However, in a plot twist, he was the one who died and used the coffin that he built. Despite of his short life, Magnifico proved that true kindness is not measured by years but by the love and kindness that

we share. As his grandmother once said, "Your smile will bring us closer to heaven.” If you want to watch and explore the movie you can watch it on YouTube. https://youtu.be/082OYr-N8l0?si=Io0yFU-ythze_vLp

Art, History, and the Legacy of Juan Luna

Last year, I had the chance to watch Juan Luna: Isang Sarsuela, a powerful musical that reimagines the life of one of the Philippines’ most celebrated artists. It wasn’t just a story about a painter, it was a story about passion, sacrifice, and identity.

The production captured Juan Luna’s brilliance and flaws, showing that even heroes are human. As I watched, I was reminded of Jose Rizal’s timeless words, “Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan,” which reflected the youthful drive for change that the play celebrated. That line became an intertextual reference connecting the sarsuela’s message with Rizal’s enduring vision for the Filipino spirit. I also read an article from https://yjmbpennyforyourthoughts.wordpress.com/2024/08/23/new-musical-juan-luna-isang-sarsuela-promises-a-vivid-portrayal-of-18th-century-life/ discussing how the musical portrays Luna not only as a national hero but also as a complex, emotional man, something that deepened my appreciation for the show’s storytelling.

Watching Juan Luna: Isang Sarsuela reminded me that art has the power to connect generations and keep our history alive. It showed me that creativity, when rooted in truth, can make us reflect on who we are as Filipinos and who we can still become.

There was a time when days felt heavy and lonely—when you had problems but no shoulder to cry on, when birthdays didn’t feel special at all. It was just another normal day for me: no cake, no greetings, and no one to celebrate with. But everything changed when he came into my life. The say he came into came I started to like girly things, pink, and soft moments, I cry even in small arguments, and for the first time, I didn’t feel like I was on my own anymore. The song "Until I Found You" by Stephen Sanchez reminds me of that feeling—finally being loved, seen, and cherished. Like the line he said, “I would never fall in love again until I found her,” and that became my intertext because it reflects the love I waited for.

Before, I felt like I was invisible and alone—but now, when I have problems, I know he's there. Every day and every birthday becomes special because of him. Now, I know that I matter to someone. I also read something that explained how love and emotional support affect us, and it helped me understand my feelings better. Here is the article that became my hypertext:

What Is Emotional Support?

https://www.verywellmind.com/what-is-emotional-support-2794961

Love didn’t just show up in my life—it gave meaning to the days that used to feel empty.

Title: Requiem for a Dream

The movie Requiem for a Dream opened my eyes about how addiction can destroy a person’s dreams and relationships. It’s sad but a powerful film that shows how people chase happiness in the wrong ways. The scene that really shattered my heart into pieces was when Sara said, “I just wanted to be on the show.” That line hit me so hard because it shows how badly she wanted to feel seen and important, even if it cost her everything. It made me think how social pressure and loneliness can push people to dangerous choices. I use this page https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0180093/

often so I could learn more about the film’s story and the actors who played the roles. After watching it, I realized that chasing happiness in the wrong way can destroy the very dream we’re trying to reach.

I’ve experienced a lot of struggles in life, the problems that I was afraid to face and didn’t know how to solve. That’s when I let my hobbies take over. The bike, when I first got my bike, I always knew one thing is for sure that cycling would always be my therapy. It would be my friend that helps me calm the storm. The more time I spent cycling and experiencing ups and downs, the more I was reminded of Albert Einstein’s quote saying:“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving,” which he wrote for his son. This famous quote is an intertextual reference because it’s one of the most common quotes among cyclists, inspiring many to love cycling. So that's the bike will always be my best friend, my comfort provider that doesn’t need words or actions, just presence. I even found an article from the Adventure Cycling Association showing that I’m not the only one who sees cycling as therapy.

https://www.adventurecycling.org/blog/cycle-therapy/

When Love Feels Like an Inconvenience

Love is not always easy, especially when dreams and goals get in the way. The movie entitled "An Inconvenient Love" shows how Ayef and Manny try to balance their personal dreams with their love for each other. It reminds me of the line from "The Fault in Our Stars" “The world is not a wish-granting factory.” This quote fits perfectly because love does not always go the way we want, it takes effort, time, and sacrifice. As a student, I can relate to Ayef because sometimes school, family, and personal dreams make it hard to give time to people we care about. But like in the movie, real love means supporting each other even when life gets busy. In the end, love becomes worth the inconvenience when both people choose to stay and grow together.

The Forge tells the inspiring story of Isaiah, a young man struggling to find direction in life, who discovers guidance and purpose through his new job. The film explores themes of mentorship and personal growth, reminding viewers of the classic coming-of-age journey seen in films like The Pursuit of Happyness (https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0454921/), where persistence and guidance play a central role in shaping one’s future. Through Isaiah’s experiences, the movie echoes biblical teachings on wisdom and guidance, such as Proverbs 27:17, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another(”https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs+27%3A17&version=NIV). The story’s intertextual connection to both contemporary faith-based dramas and traditional spiritual lessons gives it a layered depth, showing that growth often comes through the influence of those who challenge and support us. Overall, The Forge combines heartfelt storytelling, moral reflection, and relatable challenges, making it a meaningful watch for anyone seeking inspiration

Not because she didn't have anything to say, but because she realized not everyone deserved to hear her. There was a time she used to explain everything - every shift in mood, every tear she tried to hide, every moment she felt misunderstood. She'd overextend, over-explain, over-give, just to be seen. But eventually, she learned: the people who truly care don't need convincing. They just know.

So she stopped. Not out of pride, but out of peace.

It's strange, how silence can feel loud when you're used to being the one who always reaches out first. She used to be that girl - typing long messages no one really read, trying to fix things no one wanted to fix, filling in all the empty spaces with words just to keep things from falling apart. But after a while, she realized: if she's the only one holding things together, then maybe it's not worth keeping at all.

Silence taught her something no voice ever could - that not every battle is worth the bruises, not every person is worth the effort, and not every version of her needs to be explained. Sometimes, walking away without a single word says more than all the apologies in the world. And choosing not to react? That's a response in itself

Now, she finds comfort in quiet. In soft mornings where no one demands anything from her. In moments where she can hear her own heartbeat without background noise. She used to be afraid of silence, scared it meant distance, detachment, endings. But now she sees it differently. Silence doesn't always mean absence. Sometimes it means protection. Sometimes it means healing.

if you love to write journals or to read u will surely love this app💕 https://medium.com

How Online Games Make Life More Fun Online games are not just about competition; they also help people relieve stress and escape from real-life problems. According to Scott, E., PhD. (2024, April 2). The link between video games and stress relief. Verywell Mind. https://www.verywellmind.com/how-video-games-relieve-stress-4110349, online games can help individuals cope with challenges and even fight depression by providing fun, adventure, and social interaction. Many players find joy in meeting new friends and exploring virtual worlds that make them forget their worries. As a STEM student, I often use online games to unwind from the pressure of schoolwork, research, and extracurricular activities. Playing games with others online makes life more exciting and enjoyable, especially when you share laughter and teamwork. For me, gaming is not just a hobby—it’s a way to recharge and find comfort when I’m tired or stressed. Like Roald Dahl once said, “Life is more fun if you play games.”

Art Speaks What Words Cannot

Vincent van Gogh's quote "The only time I feel alive is when I'm painting" hits me deeply. This line has always stayed on my mind because I also feel the same way. There are times when my emotions are too heavy or too tangled to explain, but when I start to draw, paint or even just doodle, I find peace. Every stroke reflects what's inside me—joy, sadness, hope and everything. Art became my voice, a way that helps me talk about something I can't say verbally. Through art, I can speak freely, letting my heart communicate what my words cannot. It helps me to feel alive, whether its drawing, painting or crafting, It helps me find a sense of freedom through making something out of my emotions. As Pablo Picasso once said, "Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up" reminds me how life struggle became a way that leads us to lose our passion in arts. There's an article that talks about how art helps her to heal her well being, even after she disconnects in arts because of the real time world, arts never failed her to be happy, to be feel alive and to be a better version of herself.

https://deavictoria.com/how-art-can-help-you-heal-the-health-wellbeing-benefits-of-a

rt/

A lot of people often say that stanning and liking a k-pop group is a waste of time and meaningless, but for me, it's not. Supporting Seventeen has always given me things to look forward to, their music, words and personalities never fail to bring comfort and inspiration. I always admire how they can heal a piece soul whenever they make a song that comforts people. Take one of their song called "Cheers to Youth" as an example a song that talks about growing up while facing challenges and making mistakes but instead of hating yourself for them, it reminds you to embrace those moments as part of life. As I listen to this song, it reminds me to be gentle with myself and to accept that I'm still learning and growing. As one of the lyric said “It just so happens we’re facing today for the first time” so it's okay to make mistake because it's only our first time living this life and every day is a new chance to be better. Another part that I really like is when they sing, “On the way home today, I’ll tell myself that I did okay. That it wasn’t easy, but it wasn’t so bad" which made me realize that even my day did not go perfectly and smoothly, I still tried my best and that's something to be proud of. This song truly makes me feel comforted, and if you want to feel its message too, you can listen it here https://youtu.be/bw4AuPrLWeA?si=TPPAChz0pnQZClFG and as the song says, lets cheers to youth.

I have experienced many things in my age that really shaped what I am today. Most of them really challenged what I can do. I have fought many silent battles within myself and it's really hard especially when anxiety hits. I heard and saw many quotes around me but one that hits hard is "Learn from your mistakes". Sounds easy enough to do but when your in the situation it changes quickly. All through out my life I have made mistakes like any other person but it seems that it happens quite often. I always try to be a good person, a productive and smart individual. That is what my goal is from the start. I don't want to be left out so back then I try to catch up with every trend. I make friends all the time to show I'm nice. But everything changed slowly when all the things I do make people mad at me. I did everything I could to make up for every mess I made but I just seem to made them worse. At the time, when I was grade 8, I started to lose interest in almost everything. Although I'm starting to have negative emotions, I still kept on moving forward. I kept on being the person I used to be but deep inside I'm so broken. People around always say negative things behind me but I pretend it's nothing to me when in reality it crumbles me like a piece of paper. As the time goes by it got worse and worse and when I got to grade 11, it's done. I don't care about anything, even to people that is around me. I don't care if I die right now. I just want to end it all, right there. But there was a girl that came to our classroom. At first, I did what I do as usual. After a few weeks I felt it. I felt what I couldn't before. That motivation boost me so much that it made me do a lot of things I couldn't before. It didn't last long though so I fell into despair once more and it's much worse. I was ready to end it all. So many times I tried to take my own life because I failed horribly again. Those challenges almost made me surrender. After awhile, many fighting against myself I tried thinking again and that is when I read a lot of quotes. I overlooked a lot of things. My mindset back then is always "Let it happen", "There's nothing I can do", "No one understands me". I changed it and thought the opposite. And now every mistake I make, I always think of a solution and if it fails then just do it again and learn, not just memorize the correct equation but understand the correct equation. There's also a link that gives motivational quotes and tells inspirational stories.

https://www.insightoftheday.com

Listening to “The Marías" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Marías on Spotify always makes me feel at peace. There’s something about their dreamy sound that helps me forget about deadlines and schoolwork for a while. I usually sing along, even when I’m alone, because it makes me feel lighter and more relaxed. Like Billie Eilish once said, “When I was little, I loved music so much — it was my safe place.” That line really sticks with me because music feels exactly like that for me too. It’s my comfort zone, my escape, and my favorite therapy after a long, tiring day.

https://open.spotify.com/track/1ShRHPAiiIrh0arZbSFmx1?autoplay=true&source_application=google_assistant

One of the most inspiring and stress relieving hobby that I have as a student is an online game called mobile legend bang bang(MLBB), this game is the one who keeps me sane after all of the most stressing things I've experience as a student like pressure of schoolwork, research, and extracurricular activities. This game help me to forget about the stress about school works it remind me of the quote of one of its hero Belerick: "Time teaches you things you can't learn from the books". It taught me a lot of things actually while browsing the net I actually found an interesting study about playing MLBB https://rsisinternational.org/journals/ijriss/articles/more-than-just-a-game-lived-experiences-of-six-grader-mobile-legend-players/. This game Mobile Legend Bang Bang isn't just a game to me it's an experience that help your mind to be sharp, it pushes your strategic thinking, and gives you happiness and felt of disappointment along with your friends that you wouldn't expect. Every role in the games comes with its own responsibility so when playing its gives us a sign of trusting our back with our team relying on each other, and when that efforts clicked, the satisfaction is unmatched. For some, its a perfect way to escape boredom, feeling the time and excitement in an interactive way. And when you get to play with friends the most fun way to play is with them sharing our laughter, and teamwork the whole vibe changes its not just about winning but sharing the thrill together making the bond of friendship strengthening it with playing.

Whenever I feel uncertain about the future, I turn to music to calm my thoughts. One of my favorite songs is “Jump Then Fall” by Taylor Swift, where she sings about taking risks and trusting someone to catch you when you do. The line, “I like the way I can’t keep my focus, I watch you talk, you didn’t notice,” reminds me that sometimes vulnerability and trust are part of growing up—an intertextual reference that connects deeply with my own experiences. While reflecting on this, I came across an article from Verywell Mind

https://www.verywellmind.com/benefits-of-music-therapy-89829

discussing how music can boost our mood and reduce stress, which perfectly supports how I feel whenever I listen to this song. That’s an example of hypertext, since the link takes readers to another page with more information. Music like Taylor Swift’s doesn’t just fill the silence—it helps me find courage to take that leap, and trust that I’ll land where I’m meant to be.

Warning: Subjected to contain sensitive and disturbing topics‼️⚠️

I once wondered how people are susceptible to committing crime or harmful acts despite the altruistic behaviour were supposed to be innately inhabit. On 1974, an American social psychologist came up with a question of, "Is Eichmann and his million accomplices in the Holocaust were only obeying orders?"; similarly in thought of whether it is due to commands from higher authority that humanity resort to harm. With this thought, he conducted the "Milgram Experiment" to observe how a low status individual reacts and perform under commands and pressure which aims to measure how far participants would go in obeying instructions from an authority figure.

The experiment consists of three individuals: the experimenter and the student which are both confederates, and the teacher (the participant). In which the teacher is handed a set of questions together with the experimenter in the same room, they can communicate but not able to see the student in the neighboring room. The teacher asks the questions to the student and is commanded by the experimenter to activate the electric shock at an increasing voltage level each time the student makes mistakes, but the catch is, it was all staged and according to Milgram Shock Experiment, various events are conducted prior to the experiment to induce belief to the participant's mind. Recorded sounds and staged acts are produced to cause immense pressure to instigate obedience, which in result, all participants raise the voltage to 300 while 65% raised it to the death inducing 450V, proving that most of humanity's decisions, including those heinous ones are merely as foolish as a puppet to its master.

https://www.simplypsychology.org/milgram.HTML

A book is a universe of its own—some parts crowded with words, others alive with color, and a few left blank; each carrying a fragment of a larger plot. A girl wanders through them, lost between the sheets yet still searching for her place in the story.

I've always been a quiet kid. My older siblings were everything a parent could hope for; smart and admired. My mother, determined to raise me in their image, became my first teacher. She drilled me with lessons long before pre-school, expecting me to mirror their brilliance. Unlike other children who were happily playing outside, I still remember sitting at the table with my tiny hand struggling to grip a pencil. "Ang pangit ng sulat mo," she would say with a voice sharp enough to sting. At an age when I should have been carefree, I learned instead to measure my worth in perfect penmanship and silent obedience.

My voice longed for its place as the words I kept locked inside my head began to desperately knock for release. So I picked up a pencil again, not to perfect my handwriting but to pour my thoughts onto a blank page. From an article I saw from Medium, I realized that writing was not simply an escape, it was an act of claiming my own existence. I filled the blank pages with characters who could say the things I couldn't, who could make choices I was too afraid to make. Within books I made, I somehow pieced together stories I might one day be brave enough to live as my own.

As Maya Angelou once said, “There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.” Her words served as an intertextual reference which resonates with the struggle of facing the overwhelming need to express oneself. For so long, I had kept my voice buried, hidden behind the weight of expectations and silence. But whenever I write, my untold story finally gets a chance to breathe.

In East Asian belief, there is a concept known as the "red thread of fate." It was said that "it connects two people and is destined to meet despite every circumstance". I personally don't believe in that theory, not until I started to feel those butterflies in my stomach. All along, it was us—bound by this thread without us knowing. We began to laugh, reminiscing on those pictures of two best friends just having the best day of their lives, who are the same couple that have their destinies entwined from the start.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SnH4i9c1p5y7-Tk7DRzqTbj7C9hMTPIW/view?usp=sharing

The Shack

2017 "The Shack" is one of the greatest movie I've ever seen, if not the best. It is so simple and complex at the same time that I can't describe how I feel watching it. It was 6 years ago when I first saw the movie and the scene where mack asked "after everything I felt in my heart towards you, why would you keep working on me?" And then Papa (a woman is actually playing the representation of God for a good amount of time in the movie) replied: "Because that's what Love does". That line is actually what you call an intertextual reference or a quote, but more importantly, that line hit me hard! Something in my heart is planted after hearing those lines. It would be my greatest pleasure to recommend this movie because it laid the foundation of my faith! Actually, here is a link that would take you directly to a YouTube video with the full movie of The shack: https://youtu.be/vwbPTn75DVg?si=pMX4h4Gb4apA9PsI

One of my favorite hobbies is motorcycling, because of the feeling of freedom I get when I'm on the road. As the movie The Motorcycle Diaries says, “Let the world change you and you can change the world” is an intertextual reference that reminds me of how every ride has a lesson and experience. Every time I ride a motorcycle, it feels like the stress and weight of everyday life disappear. I also learned from this article about the mental health benefits of riding (https://bikeleague.org/5-mental-health-benefits-of-riding-your-bike/) that it helps focus and calm the mind. Aside from the adrenaline, motorcycling also brings a connection to nature and new places. For me, it's not just a simple hobby, it’s a way to clear my mind, feel alive, and see the world from a new perspective.

What if we go back to zero? No buildings, no houses and no electricity. Can you see yourself in this situation? And how you can live like this. This anime Dr. Stone, inspire me how helpful is science whether you are in danger or you are in the world back to zero in short stone age.Their invention shows that there is still hope for the world to return to normal. This anime is full of adventure, lessons, and most of all science. Senku is the protagonist of this anime, making things easier for the goal to return back in normal and he has a rival who is a scientist like him named Xeno he is Senku's mentor. The line that Xeno said “Science is Elegant” in this line I am especially amazed by science and I realized every invention that is made gives solution and has a benefit to the world and every life in the world gives meaning to the world. I searched how or what is the history of the freezer. The freezer became the solution to prevent our food from spoiling and it shows how science has become elegant.

https://www.reliant.co.uk/blog/history-of-the-freezer/

One of the best books i've ever read is Wuthering Height by Emily Brontë. Whenever i heard this book it reminds me of the saying "Be with me always—take any form—drive me mad! only do not leave me in this abyss, where I cannot find you! Oh, God! I cannot live without my life! I cannot live without my soul!" which connects to the movies theme gothic. That line is an intertextual reference because directly references and is deeply rooted in the context of the novel's preceding events, particularly Catherine's death. It draws upon the established themes of passionate love, loss, and vengeance that define the relationship between Heathcliff and Catherine. This is the link of the book if you want to buy/read (https://www.nationalbookstore.com/books/48061-wuthering-heights-by-emily-bronte-trade-paperback-fiction-literature.html?srsltid=AfmBOoql7n4xBeWrFZ9bS0n8npO905c8Oz9AYyC8xK9ijjni9rvxMPaA)

Recently, I accidentally stumbled on an anime song titled "Rokutousei" which was sung by an Japanese artist named Zarame. It was used as an ending song for the anime titled "My Hero Academia Season 7". The rhythm is very catchy to the point that I want to loop it for hours. I searched for its lyrics and meaning and found that it is about a person trying to reach another person but the latter slowly fades its light, similar to a sixth-magnitude star, which is the faintest start that a naked human eye could see. What made me love the song is the lyrics which are, "There's no meaning to the light if it can't illuminate you, the radiance of a sixth-magnitude star, to the point where it wants to vanish. I'm searching for your voice that can overpower the first-magnitude star." To further enpand my knowledge regarding to magnitude of stars, I want to this site:

https://earthsky.org/astronomy-essentials/what-is-stellar-magnitude/
