In American Football you have an offensive team and a defensive team. The goal of the offensive teams is to score points. The offensive team exists of the Quarterback, the Halfback, the Fullback, the Center, the Linemen, the Wide receivers and the Tight ends. The Quarterback is responsible for leading plays and passing the ball to right person. The Center, his Linemen and sometimes the Fullbacks are mainly there to block the defensive team from attacking their Quarterback. The Wide receivers and the Tight ends are supposed to make runs for the Quarterback to reach them and score points

 

As stated the defensive team’s purpose is to stop the plays from the offensive team and to put the Quarterback under pressure to make a wrong move. The Middle and the Outside line backers are the ones making the calls in the defence. Behind the line backers are the ones covering the offensive receivers, these are called Corner backs and Safeties. 

 

There are multiple ways to score point in American Football. The most popular one is the Touchdown, this happens when a member of the offensive teams gets the playing ball into the defensive end zone. A Touchdown is worth 6 points. Next to the Touchdown there are also the Field Goal (3 points) a safety (2 points) and the extra point, which can be converted after making a Touchdown.

 

 

Lebron James is one the best players in the game and he got elected to MVP (Most Valuable Player) of this year’s championships. Lebron started his basketball career at the High School: St-Vincent – St – Mary. During the Basketball draft Lebron was chosen first by the Cleveland Cavaliers. After playing there for 7 years he transferred to Miami Heat. After 4 successive years there he returned to his first team and he promised them that he will bring a championship with him, and boy did he.. 

LeBron is three times champion of the NBA Championships and during these championships he was voted to be MVP of the finals three times. Lebron was also chosen to be MVP of the regular season 4 times.

Stephen Curry is a player which is known for his high amount of three pointers he scores per game. This season and last season Stephen has been voted to be MVP of the regular season and in the 2015 he has won first championship. During the draft he was picked as 7th and since 2009 he has been playing for the Golden State Warriors.  $;�Pz��

Although it is not as big as the European competitions, the MLS is growing. Big names are taking over teams like Abu Dhabi Sports and David Beckham. Abu Dhabi Sports started the club New York City FC and have already signed legendary players like: Frank Lampard, Andrea Pirlo and David Villa. David Beckham bought a club which will play in Miami. Also Los Angeles Galaxy is one of the bigger teams with players like Steven Gerrard and Nigel de Jong. The competition is not as big yet, but it is definitely going the right way.  rverL;�

Not as popular as basketball or American Football, but still quite popular sport in the United States. The NHL counts 30 teams and this will go up to 31 in 2017. 23 of these teams are settled in America and 7 are settled in Canada, the one joining is from Las Vegas so the American one will raise to 24. These teams are divided into the eastern and western conference. 16 in the west and 14 in the east.    

The draft is almost the same as the NBA one. Amateurs from junior, collegiate or European leagues can entry the draft. The draft will exist of best of 7 games serie in which the players need to proof to be better than the other ones. 16 teams of the 30 teams enter the final play offs for the champion ships and the other 14 are automatically placed for the draft lottery. The team which ended last in the competition has the best chance to be picked out of the lottery and also to pick their player first. In this way the team that was the worst that year will only get better and the best one will stay on same level or slightly get better.
