We plan to have our squid dark purple. Squids have suction cups on their tentacles so we plan to make those out of hot glue to add texture. These hot glue suction cups will be painted with glow in the dark purple paint. Hot glue will also be used to add texture on the squid's body which will also be painted with glow in the dark paint. Our final project will be tied on a wire so it is able to hang and the legs will be able to move as well to add a moving effect like a real squid. We want to create a fun experience for the viewer–kind of similar to a children's birthday party or something you might see in a parade floating above the crowd.
