They're population is at 55,211 people as of October 2018. A decent amount of the population being Chamorro and Carolinian. The official language is English along with Chamorro and Carolinian(the native languages) and Japanese. They have their own government and economy. Those born in the Mariana Islands are considered citizens of the U.S. though they may not participate in elections and such.
