When I am 80, I must have one dog and one cat as companions. I will sleep with them every starlit night so that I will not feel lonely. Every morning, I will walk the dog and cat in the near park and also take some exercise. Then I will eat dimsum at Guangdong restaurant with my friends and chat with them. Maybe I will find something I am interested in to do because I don not want to be a lazy or granny lead a meaningless lifestyle of old age.

 

Actually, I am more likely to adopt a girl, especially the orphan, to live with me in my earlier age and I will devote myself to leading him and loving him. However, I am not sure whether I will get married or not. If I can not meet a perfect man which means Mr. Right, I would rather not get married. Whether I'm married or not, I'm going to have a child with me 

 

After a few years, when my girl grows up, I will show her around the world. Every year we will take a trip to other countries. Besides, We will share what we are keen with each other. Although my child is already an adult, in my eyes, she is still my little sweetie. If I can see that she has a happy family before I die, I will have no regrets. 

I smiled at myself in the mirror, and the years of my experience have come to my mind. I was an excellent lawyer when I was young and I’ve been engaged in the beauty industry since I retired 30 years ago. Furthermore, I created my own line of cosmetic products, which was the dream of my youth.

But now, I’m completely retired so I have a lot of free time. Therefore, I occasionally go to Paris Fashion Week with my husband or go to an art exhibition with my best friends. I really like my life right now.

And about my family, I have a husband who loves me very much and two children. My children are so busy with their work that they can’t spend much time with us. Thus, when I retired, they sent us a puppy to keep us company.

“Mom, I’m coming!”My daughter’s voice came from downstairs. I quickly gathered my senses again, putting on my favourite dress and wearing the jewelry which my husband gave me. Then I went downstairs. At that moment, the door opened and my husband returned from walking the dog with a bunch of flowers. We smiled at each other.

  It was a fine day on my eightieth birthday, and I felt so blessed!

Meanwhile possessing a study room, put our knowledge and dreams in it.There's a big living room where we watch famous program and talk about who we used to purse.Have lots of good friends and travel together every year. Have my career, enjoy the joy of creation and design my life. In a fully functional kitchen, I could take cakes, desserts, delicacies for my lover.

Although my children are busy with work, they would come back visiting me from time to time and pursue their career dreams. I am not their burden and have my own lives, contacting with them by phone occasionally. 

 

Around 5 pm, I will go to my cafe again and order a cup of lemon coffee. Then I will sit by the window, drink coffee slowly and enjoy the afterglow scattered on the table. The cafe will play soft piano music or jazz, and the guests will taste coffee quietly. No one plays poker, smokes, or makes a noise.

 
This is my day when I am 80. You may ask me why I don't have my own family? My answer is, go with it. I enjoy my single life. In this life, I want to love myself first.

Soon it was the afternoon, I may just sit in a rocking chair by the window and start looking back at my past. As a translator, I have attended countless of Sino-foreign exchange conference as a bridge to help both the foreigners to comprehend our traditional cultural and the Chinese to learn more about the excellent foreign cultural achievements which were aimed at enhancing exchanges and mutual understanding between China and other countries. In a sense, my teenage dream that contributing my own strength to the friendly exchanges between China and foreign countries had come true. Rocking in the rocking chair with the cat in my arm, I also fell into my sweet dreams……

At noon, I will have lunch with my family and learn about what young people like to do now. If I am interested, I will ask my grandson to teach me. I will like to be with my grandchildren, but I will not live with them or take care of them. I want to have my own private space to do what I like.

In the afternoon, I will watch sitcom at home. Although I am old, I still like to watch young handsome men and beautiful women. After watching, I will play the zither, which was my hobby when I was young. I don't want to throw it away. In the evening, I will go for a walk or dance in the park and meet new friends in the square. If I go to dinner with friends, I may go to the bar. When I get home, I should do a good job of skin care and go to bed. I should be delicate to yourself when you get old.

 

In my 80s, I wish I would have the ability and courage to love after enduring time and many heartbroken moments.

  

I wish I could have a happy family, not many numbers in it, but a man or woman I sincerely would have loved for a long time and our beautiful child, maybe not the smartest one, but a just true friend commented.

 

In my 80s,I wish I could proudly say to my students that I have devoted my life to my favorite undertaking---translating and writing.Even through I wouldn’t have excellent world-known works but still can make some positive influence to some people in their difficult periods.If I could do better beyond expectation, I wish my effort will make difference to spread Chinese culture and promote exchanges among various cultures.

 

In my 80s, I wish every morning I could get a cup of tea and a bunch of flowers that someone promised to me in my 17s. I wish that every sunny day my friends and I can come together to recall our youth time with tears and smiles.

 

In my 80s, I wish I could have a determined and persevering heart and leave the world without any pity but full of gratitude and peace.

 

In my 80s, I wish I would say thanks to my 18s. 

Eighty-year-old, my body is no longer strong with loose skin and full of wrinkles. But I don't feel sad when I see myself in the mirror, I know that every wrinkle is a witness to life. When I eighty years old, I can't stay up late like young and the quality of sleep with age and reduce. I will get up at six o’clock every day, walking around the community with my old sister about half an hour in order to keep health, watching the sunrise to begin a wonderful day. After breakfast, I will play with my parrot, which is a good way to relax myself. At noon, I can read some books or watch my favorite TV show and then take a nap. Afternoon, I will chat a bit of  gossip with my old sister under the tree in the community. After dinner we will enjoy the square dance and eliminate food by walking. In the evening, I make occasional video calls with my children and then go to sleep.

A day of my eighty is boring but it is my ideal elder life.

 

I used to study in Guangdong Medical University, and then I was admitted to graduate school. Then I went to Hangzhou and became a teacher. I got my own house in the new city, made many new friends and started my new life.Then I met my husband, we are very happy, he takes care of me. Our jobs are stable and our days are ordinary. Once in a while, he would bring me some little surprises, which made me feel happy.When I was young, I liked traveling very much. I went to almost every place in China and enjoyed different sceneries. Of course, this interest has remained until now.Then we had a lovely child, and I took the family out a lot. We got along very happily.Even though I'm old now, I still care about my appearance, just like I did when I was younger. Although I am old, I am still young at heart. I talk to my grandchildren like friends.Life goes on, though there are obstacles to overcome. My family is full of love, so my life is full of love.

In my 80s, I know maybe many people around me are gone. I know I will die in the near future, but I will still enjoy my every day. Maybe when I am 80, I can still remember the breakfast my mother made for me when I was a child. I can still remember who helped me when I was a student. But maybe I don’t remember anything, I will still know someone loves me. 

Maybe my life will pass, but the important thing is to live in the present. Tomorrow is my 80^th birthday. I thought I have invited all of my friends. We are going to have a party in my house. I still have to keep up with the trend, so I will dress up beautifully tomorrow. Let’s look forward to tomorrow. See you tomorrow! ：）

In fact, I was confused when I was about 20 years old. I followed my family's advice to found a stable job after graduating from college. I worked in that company for several years, that job was very stable but is dull. Look at me, you know I'm not the person who will willing to live such a boring life！

I determined to use my savings in recent years to create my own shop. What is the main business of this shop? In fact, I have so many hobbies that I put them all together and opened a grocery store named by myself. Sometimes I sold the scarf knitted by myself, and sometimes I sold my own cake. 
 The guests who came to buy things admired me that I can do what I like. At that time, I noticed that many people can't continue their hobbies because they have to earn money, so I told the guests that they could sold their handicrafts in my shop so that they had a good reason to do what they interested in. Gradually, many people came to me to sell their amateur expertise. People who like to study electronic equipment even volunteered to repair their computers for everyone in my shop. I provided them with a place to develop their hobbies. I also charged for the venue, the more people come to me to show their amateur expertise, the richer I became. I also got my love when I was 27 years old. He supported my life choice very much. We travelled all over the world together.

I have been bringing happiness to myself and others, which is the purpose of my life. I am mainly rich in my spiritual world!!!

I live alone when I was eighty. I like the time alone which makes me feel happy. I have a fat orange cat and a Samoye named Money. I like animals very much, and I don't think I will feel lonely with pets' company. In my spare time, I can walk my dog in the park and communicate with other dog owners about how to raise pets. Or I will learn new skills, such as painting and calligraphy, which can make my life more fulfilling. Besides, I also go shopping with my best friends. Although we are old, I think we are still in the trend of The Times. Sometimes we go to see our favorite stars' concerts together, take a trip to the seaside together, and we do a lot of things together to get rid of all our troubles.

I think I'm still that twenty-year-old girl, like to dye my own hair, like to paint colorful nail polish, for the TV series of touching love tears. I think that even though I am old, my young heart is beating forever.

After graduation from the university, I couldn't find a stable job. I lived a hard life in big cities, trying not to starve to death. The next several years, I made a big decision that I was going to start up business with some old classmates in university. Everything is hard to begin, especially start up business. At first, we had to do all the things by ourselves. Staying up late to midnight was a usual thing. Gradually, things became better and we could earn a large of money per year. 

As for my affection, it's very struggling. I didn't have a boyfriend for a long time for the reason that I devoted myself into my career and had no time to involve in love. Gradually, I wanted to be with someone but many men had been married and I was aging.  I was very sad at that moment. Then I met a man. We were both attracted by each other. We fell in love at first sight. But good times didn't last long. There're some great divergences in some issue that we couldn't agree with. We always argued and we were tired. Having no idea, we broke up. I wasn't worried about the affection any longer from then on, realizing that I could live a happy life on my own.

My daily life now is regular. I wake up early to exercise, have breakfast and reading in the morning. I take a nap in the afternoon and drink tea with some friends. Watering the flowers with my cats wandering.

All in all, I am very satisfied with the life I'm having now.

Let’s talk about my family. My wife was a teacher, and now she retired. She can enjoy life without being too busy. I respected her and loved her deeply. And this kitten, who came into our lives in June 2075. She is a lovely kitten. I don't live with my children, but they come over for dinner every week. This is also our happy time. 

What about my job? You know what, China has now become one of the most developed countries in the world. Learning Chinese has become a trend. Chinese teacher has become a hot job all over the world, and I naturally became a Chinese teacher in UK. It’s very interesting, uh?
