Ecologicaly and sustainably talking, this project is a good idea. It doesn't impact the environment, and it as not carbon emission.

Morover, we can travel quickly in it and have a beautiful view of the environnement.

However, this is a little scary. I mean, being all together in a structure, a line, can be terrifing. It represent the future we can read in some crazy description. People are still afraid of what the future can be, and I don't think tis project will help them to be confident in it.

This project is a little better than the first one. Again the problem is ecological with the high temperature in the spart of the globe. There are some contradictions with the eco-friendly project. One of them is the transportation from and out of the city. the other one may be the pollution inside of it, each person products rubbish and have the recycle them.

the line is exceptional project creates a city in a straight line. This has been made in such a way that there is no carbon emission, it will be able to accommodate 9 million inhabitants.

The ideal climate throughout the year will allow residents to enjoy the surrounding nature. Residents will also have access to all everyday essentials within a five-minute walk, in addition to high-speed rail – with 20-minute end-to-end transit.

I think this project can be realized what will be beneficial for our planet

I think that this project is better than the World because in long term it's more ecological and more usefull but the need in constructions are not very ecological.

I understand the idea that is a solution for the future in world for ecology and for the surpopulation in our cities in our days.

But I think that there is a lot of beautiful landscapes, and cities with strong energy and history to discover and live in.

This project of the Line is rather positive because they can offer more than 9 million accommodations and attract more people to come and live in this city whether it is local people or for tourism. This will also create jobs for those who would like to work here and also help the population who would come to work in the same place and therefore reduce their carbon footprint so as not to use their car. The tourism that could be very present and attract here is eco tourism because it is a very ecological project and that would allow to live daily with nature and learn more about it, and does not disturb the environment around so for this is a good idea even if of course there is not a total of 0 carbon footprints in the construction of this project.

To give one word AMAZING, it's a beautifull and sustainable project, with 0 foot print. In term of ecologie it's the perfect project. But there might be one problem. The way of living. There is a big wild world just waiting for us and we will leave in small line. People might not like living in that type "city". The construction of this will take to much time, using to much people. The destruction of the previous cities will take a long time and will be not sustainable. Also 3 people who was against this project get "la condamnation à mort", wich make us understand what is in the mind of the creators .....

“The Line” project is a futuristic and surrealist project of today. This is a project in which we can analyze the problems of our days, pollution and other genes that come after technological innovations. With this project they tried to respond to all these issues. But is this project really feasible and will it keep all its promises? But just the construction and the working conditions of the employees we can think that it is not going to be ecological and that the working conditions will not necessarily be good. Are we able to live tightly in this building enclosed by two walls on each side? We may feel unwell and confined.

I think that this project has been quite well thought out from an ecological standpoint; however, it will still pose problems as its purpose is to be artificially created in a natural environment. On the other hand, this line project can be seen as a barrier, and living in such a place will probably be somewhat stifling. What is certain is that this place will not be intended for people who love nature but rather for individuals with an urban profile.

"The Line" as a tourism project is an interesting project. It is an ecological project with zero CO2 emission which is a good point.

The city is expected to have nine million residents and to be fully powered by renewable energy.

So I that this project will be a good idea but I don't know if it is really feasible.

I think the project is a brilliant idea. The will to create a new concept of what could be our city in the future. However, I am not certain that the project will respect its commitment to reduce and limit the emission of pollution. Even if they promise ‘no roads, cars or emissions, it will run on 100% renewable energy and 95% of land will be preserved for nature’, are we sure that it will not require a lot of material and methods that aren’t sustainable. That is the point to mull over.

Then, I think this project to build a city stretching across 170 kilometers is a little too idealistic. It seems we are in an utopia. The question we should ask ourselves is, is that realistic ?

Of course there are a lot of people who will be killed for that even currently for the opponant of the project BUT, I analyse it in a completely neutral view and so, I want to dream a litle bit in forgeting the bad points. This project is part of Saudi Arabia's goal to secure its economic future beyond oil. In my opinion, this project is truly innovative. Indeed, thinking about the future and renewable energy is a strong point for this huge project. However, the construction works will significantly increase their pollution, which may be make up for in the future (as an investment).

For me, this project is unfeasible. Firstly, because it will take decades to be built and will cause significant pollution during construction, even if it won't pollute afterward. Additionally, personally, I wouldn't want to live in such a confined space, and I'm not sure that many people would want to come and live there either.

I’m not even sure that this project is realize just the construction and a project giganteste and very complicated to do this project with 0 ecological impact

I think the idea is great, it is more sustainable than the better one but there is still some big ecological probleme they need to face.

Even if this project is duable because they have the ressources I don't know if a lot of people will agree that this project can be scary. Being with a lot of people in a line can afraid people and even seem dystopian for other.

This project is attractive and very innovative because it looks so futuristic and is marketed very well. However, even if when it is created it will be sustainable, its construction itself will be a huge disturbance to the local land and the resources used are enormous. If the construction was less impactful it would be a great project but unfortunately it is not worth it. Maybe this is a project to think about when the world is truly unliveable in the cities but for now it is not necessary.

The Line is a very imaginative project.

They want to change the way of life of million people but they need to be careful of the necessity of this project.

The ideo of respect the nature is a great one but I think this is not the right place for this, in the middle of desert…

I think UAE try to rebuy there image about ecology and for me is to innovative.

For me this is not the moment use their money to save the nature and not to build new city.

I’m sure that nature is not going to be respected during the construction of the line…

"The Line" seems like a great project on paper, but is it really realisable ? Even if it is constructed, how can they gather enough people to have faith in this project and come live there ? The organisation of the line is really different to the way we are living nowaday.

And concerning the culture, it would mean that there is no historical background whatsoever, which is very important for a city, especially from an European point of view. Moreover, still concerning the culture, is there some museums ? Some art gallery ? Some cinema ?

The line is a very futuristic project and it's a massive change of the way the cities would be build in the future. I think in terms of density in one place it is a really great idea because it won't be growing and growing taking more space but it will be in just a line. And also in the end the project will be very eco-friendly. Th construction itslef is not really but in the end it's very correct.
