The Simulation Theory - Part 1

The simulation theory is one of the most discussed conspiracy theories in the world. It has been discussed by brilliant people like Elon Musk, Sam Altman and Neil deGrasse Tyson. It has become a topic of discussion between physicists, astrophysicists, and philosophers. Thousands of YouTubers have made videos about this and a lot of people believe it. Also, a lot of movies have been made about this theory, one example is the Matrix. So, I thought it would be interesting to write about.
First, let's go over the concept of simulation. It is the action of pretending or deception. The production of a computer model or something especially for study. To understand this theory we can think about the movie Matrix, where the Matrix is a simulation of the world. There are three different branches of this theory.
One of them is that a future civilization might have wanted to see w hat living in the past will be like and so they made a simulation to find out. Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, truly believes this theory, he believes that the chance of us being real is one in a billion. When giving an interview in 2017 he stated " 40 years ago, we had pong, like two rectangles and a dot...now 40 years later we have photorealistic 3D simulations with millions of people playing simultaneously and its getting better every year and soon we'll have, you know, virtual reality...If you assume any rate of improvement at all then the games will become indistinguishable from reality." I believe that in a couple of years the graphic design will be so detailed that it will look like real life. If we truly think about it, there is a possibility that the real you could be 1000 years in the future, laying on a couch somewhere playing a VR game as you. You could literally be a Sim. Also, in 2002, a brilliant scientist, Nick Bostrom said "We are almost certainly living in a computer simulation"

SOURCES:
SHANE DAWSON = ARE WE A SIMULATION CONSPIRACY THEORY

There are some supernatural things are kind of unexplainable like ghosts, physics, deja vu. What if these things are all glitches in the simulation? As previously stated, people in the future might want to look back at the past so they create a simulation of what the past would look like. But there's not just gonna be one person looking at the past, its gonna be like TV, millions of people are going to do it. This means that there could be millions of simulations. What if we are just a TV show for people watching the past? What if we are getting deja vu because we've done this before?

There is a very small chance that we are not a simulation, however, the only way that would happen would be if civilization ended before we got that technologically advanced.

We are constantly questioning it, we which slowly leading us to create it, which is means in a thousand years we will create a simulation of the past, and then we manage to do it, and then we're here.

Another branch of this theory is that we' re just being played by people who have the VR masks on and we have no idea that we are them. Some of us believe that we have a soul, what if our soul is the person playing the game. What if our unconscious, our inner voice is actually the player. What if when we die its game over, and that would mean that past lives are past games.

One last theory is the theory that we are in the last seven seconds. Many say that during the seven seconds before your death you see your life flash before your eyes. It might seem impossible to see your entire life in seven seconds, but think about dreams, you could sleep for one hour and have a dream that seemed like it lasted about three hours. So those seven seconds could last a lifetime.

SOURCES:
SHANE DAWSON = ARE WE LIVING IN A SIMULATION CONSPIRACY THEORY

THE MANDELA EFFECT

The Mandela Effect is a conflict between the past and peoples memory of the past. So basically when many people remember something but when we look back it never actually happened. It is named the Mandela effect because there was a widespread misconception that the former South African President Nelson Mandela died in the 1980s while he was in jail. But in reality, he was freed in 1990 and died in 2013. However, thousands insist on remembering Mandela's death in prison. There is actually a book that was published in 1991 that states that Mandela did die in prison, and because one cannot publish a book with false information, one can theorize that this was because it actually did happen in another dimension.
The theories to explain this are that either we have switched into a parallel universe or somebody travelled back in time and changed something small and that caused a butterfly effect which means that lots of little things would be different in the future.
Opponents of the Mandela effect claim that the human brain is falsifying memories so well that you believe that they are true, however, how can so many people have the same false memory.
Some examples of the Mandela effect are the Berenstain bears which people remember Berenstein, Mirror Mirror when its actually Magic Mirror, Luke, I am your father when its actually No, I am your father.

SOURCES: THE MANDELA EFFECT : A CRITICAL ANALYSIS
CONSPIRACY THEORY - THE MANDELA EFFECT

Titanic Conspiracy Theory

The Titanic was at the time the most prominent and fanciest boat in the world. On April 10th, 1912 it departed, South Hampton, England. It was owned by the White Star Line, they held 3 ships the Brutanic the Olympic and the Titanic. The Olympic and the titanic were similar, but the titanic was new and was popular because it was sold as the world fastest ship. It was built in Belfast, and the total cost to build the vessel was $7.5mi, which today would be about $75mi. It was 883 feet from the stern to the bow, and it was divided into 16 compartments that were presumed to be watertight. 4 of these could be flooded, but the ship wouldn't lose buoyancy, and this made the boat supposedly unsinkable.

The captain of the ship was apparently the best at the time, and the cruise was in its first journey across the Atlantic Ferry Route carrying 2200 passengers and crew. It quickly stopped in Ireland and then headed for New York City at full speed, for they wanted to break the record for the fastest ship. Just before midnight on April 14th, the captain failed to redirect its path from an iceberg and ruptured 6 compartments. It is hard to believe that they didn't see the Iceberg, but people say that all the binoculars in the ship were locked up. Also, they received 6 ice warnings before colliding with the Iceberg.

The lost civilisation of Atlantis - Part 1

You might have heard about Atlantis through the Disney movie where Atlantis became a highly advanced underwater civilisation which used crystals to power their technology. These theories go back to the days of Socrates and Plato in 360BC. Apparently, Socrates told Plato this "story" as if it were a fact. Still, no one can determine if it is true. According to what Socrates told Plato, Atlantis ruled over several other islands and parts of the continents of Africa and Europe. Plato assumed that Atlantis lay in the Atlantic ocean at the height of the straight of Gibraltar and nowadays Mexico and about in between Africa and Europe and the Americas, until its destruction 10,000 years previous. The nation supposedly had been established by Poseidon, the god of the sea. He had five sets of twins on the island; the firstborn was named Atlas, who gave the name to the surrounding Atlantic ocean. Poseidon divided the land into ten segments, each to be ruled by his heirs.
Atlantis supposedly had a unique design, it arranged in concentric rings of alternating water and land, unlike any other civilisation. It is unknown whether these rings had naturally occurred or human-made. The soil was wealthy, and they had a magnificent irrigation system. Supposedly, they had kings, a civil administration and an organised military. They also had rituals such as bull-baiting sacrifice and prayer.
