Mitchell Palmer, it outlawed the passing along of any information that was meant to interfere with U.S. armed forces prosecution of the war<br>- This law was passed in the U.S., but the reason it was passed was because of the large immigrant population who could potentially still be loyal to their countries of origin, so this involves any of the major European countries such as Germany, Britain, or France<br>- Importance: This law showed the people that the U.S. was very serious now in their pursuit of success in the war. </div>]]></description>

The victorious allies set the peace terms for the defeated central powers. <br>- Key countries involved: over 30 nations were present at the conference, but the key nations were France, Britain, and the United States who discussed the terms of punishment for Germany<br>- Importance: The terms of peace were set for Germany, and the allies made Germany and their supporting nations take full guilt for the war. The punishments put Germany into economic ruins. <br><br></div>]]></description>

The Sedition Act stated that there could be punishments for anyone that published false writing against the government of the United States.<br>- Was just put in place within the United States.<br>Importance: It was an Amendment to the Espionage Act. This was one of the first acts put into place that challenged the 1st Amendment.</div>]]></description>
