When I started this unit, I didn't realize music, movement and dramatic arts can be so broad like you always know music is created through musical instruments, but I didn't realize that if we have movement when we hear music, we can play an instrument so that's really broaden my prospective that everyone can play a music instrument. (talk, 2013).

If we listen to our environment, we can hear all different sounds and When I was watching the video, I resonated with a world is like composition and we are the composers (NFB, 2009) because its true whatever we put into the world we can either destruct it or make it beautiful. we need to stop and look at the world is around us like smelling the flowers and enjoy life instead of just doing what we need to do. (Teele Hart)

When I heard about how our voices can tell message and we can use it more by telling a story through a song like when we get told we need to stay inside our box, but we need to think outside of the box and use our voice more and speak up to what we believe in, so we need to start singing and dancing more and let go of the status quo. (talk, How singing together changes the brain: Tania de Jong AM at TEDxMelbourne, 2013)

I have broadened my prospective of sound by you can use different nature or objects to create the effects of sound effects in movies which I now want to show children different sound perspectives like showing them cartoon of a horse clinking their hoofs to dirt then doing it with blocks to show children different sounds. (company, 2020)

When I think of my teacher's perspective back then we showed the wiggles a lot and our modern music but now i want to show more different songs in different languages to broaden their music knowledge I also want to add sensory stories when I'm reading a book for children to experience story telling in a different way and using their senses. (Vimeo, 2016)

When I set up the activity outside
I had pictures out.
large space

I noticed that the children all did the activity different how they used different items around the yard to create their movement, it was cool to see what they all did with the activity. I think as a teacher i have learnt how you have an expectation for the children and that was giving an opportunity for children to use different movements.

When I was doing the activity, I noticed that some children got distracted and didn't participate they participated for one but got bored so I would make it more engaging I would add more pictures of different pictures to make it clearer and more engaging and get other educators involved in the experience and add musical instruments and music to activity.

The best bit of the activity was seeing what the children were doing like a child used a ribbon to use for example of wind and another child rocked side by side to show a tree and another child ran really fast like they were being chased by the wind they said, "I'm a plastic bag and wind is hitting me".

This relates to the indigenous people by they did their dancing outside and taught their children their dancing which relates to my experience.

When I set up the activity outside
I had pictures out.
large space

When I explained Charades to the children, they got so excited to do the activity outside I put the paper in the middle faced down and did the action of a tree and the children were guessing what I was a child said, "you're a bush" another child said, "a tree tree tree". I wanted to give children an opportunity to play different character and re-act them.

I noticed some of the children were using words and telling the children what they were so I will have to figure out how to best explain the game and how to play and maybe give more examples of charades.

The children all loved the activity and really enjoyed acting like the nature they see in their world.

this relates to indigenous by we the experience outside which they told their stories or taught them things about their culture which I have done.

When I set up the activity
I got out tapping sticks.
Large space

I encouraged children to sit down by tapping my sticks together and once they came over. I asked, "what sounds can you hear" they said "trees, Leafs, wind and birds." I chose one the children to use their voice in creating a bird. I then chose another child to do the same thing and noticed they both used different interruptions of a bird.

The children had trouble taking turns in the activity and listening to other children's ideas. I would maybe get a talking stick, so children found it a bit easier to know when it's their time to have a go.

The activity went well they enjoyed the activity by they all enjoyed using their voices and nature to create the sound of nature.

this relates to indigenous traditions by they used leafs, trees, tapping sticks to use for their music whilst using their voices.
