Abstract— Modern production plants are locations with intricate relationships between machines that produce a variety of products. Involves many processes and different types of machines that are constantly generating information about his status that can be extracted. In many cases, the extracted data is simply stored and used as a reference source wasting its usefulness for making decisions in real time. When the data is not analyzed and static dashboards are used an important opportunity of avoid breakdowns and failures is lost. Use the machine’s data on a simple dashboard without historical data and user interaction would cause problems due a lack of vision. Many production plants has delays and cost overruns in the operation due a bad use of machine’s data. In search of solutions, this project has been designed with three objectives: compute risks of operating machines and the cost of money and time invested; make decisions in real time with the data generated and create a visual language for a common understanding of all stakeholders. In response to these needs, a functional software tool developed in HTML, CSS and JavaScript (D3) was built, which offer the user different visual possibilities that add value to the day-to-day operations.

Due to the great growth of the population in Bogotá, and to the different variables that affect land use planning plans, simulation algorithms have been made to predict the value of different indicators over time. Simulations corresponding to indicators of speedtime, triptime and CO2 emissions for 6 years have been taken into account, in addition, there are 127 zones corresponding to Zonal Planning Units in Bogotá. For each pair of zones (origin - destination), there is a value for each of the variables, also categorical variables such as transportation type and hours. That results in a dataset of complex dimensionality, in addition, being the result of a simulation algorithm, it is not easy to understand these values. It is necessary to perform a visualization to be able to analyze these variables and making decisions. Three proposals for visualizations were made, taking into account they can be extrapolated to any of the indicators that the model requires, heat and choropleth maps, divergent bar, line and bar graphs were used to visualize the impact that each of the indicators has over the years. Therefore, it is possible to discover information from the data that had not been observed before. By doing this, you can generate user retention strategies, discover important insights from the data and know a little bit more about the users who are in the age range of 25-35 years.
