How do i define Music?

The feeling we get from music is different from everyone. If i feel sad from a song another could get a sense of happiness from the same song. Because its very personable i define music as a portal to a world away from the one we are on. Whether i'm listening to headphones on campus or listening to music in my room. I feel like i'm in a different atmosphere from everyone on earth. Defining music is hard because its so personable. To me, music is any type of melody that inspires emotion, good or bad.

My favorite genre of music is country, and it's been that way since I was in a car seat. In fact, I still listen to a lot of the same songs that I used to hear my parents play on the radio. That is the greatest thing about country music, it never gets old. While I have had a few stints with rap music, nothing has ever come close to dethroning country music for me. Even when I find a new rap song I grow tired of it in a couple of days. Yet somehow i still listen to country songs that are older than me. My love for country music doesn't stop at older songs. I have playlists filled with songs from 1980 to 2018. I like to compare the difference between the melodies in older songs to the newer ones. Country music has a rich history that will only continue to grow and develop with the world. That is why country music is my favorite and I don't see it being sidelined anytime soon.

How do I Interact with Music?

I interact with music daily, whether I'm walking to class, working out or driving y car with the windows down. Im probably blaring music . That is why i feel like music is one of the most influential parts of my life. Ive used it as a vice for years. Letting myself transport into another universe by the press of a play button. I can honestly say music is one of the only constant positive things in my life. I use music to push through a studying session, a workout, anything that is hard i can easily get through it with some headphones. I noticed this about myself when i was quite young. Since my first ipod, I can remember days that i never took my headphones out of my ears.
