On March 20, the students of our school spent the day out and visited Latvian National Theatre. They were lucky enough to look behind the scenes of the theatre. The students learned how a performance is born, how scenery and costumes are created, how rehearsals are held and make-up is applied. They visited the large and small halls, felt pleasant excitement, standing on the stage and reciting verses, and they also managed to go under the stage and see with their own eyes what mechanisms set the stage in motion. Liene Sebre, the wonderful actress of the Latvian National Theater, became a guide to this magical theatrical world.
