You could always donate money to homeless foundation. You can also go there and help build houses for them and feed them. The best thing you could do is help them to adopt a street child . Instead of just feeding a couple of people for a night you could help raise a child into a new better life.

Homelessness  is now becoming a great problem and it has to be overlooked like other problems. I think we can reduce it by making everybody aware of homelessness.

the main reasosns for becoming homeless are

# poverty
# unemployment
# lack of affordable housing
#  drug  and alcohol abuse

we can help homeless people by donating clothes to them,opening NGO'S , trying to adopt a child and most important,by teaching poor children.

One feels sad looking at homeless people but the homeless must not take this as a pity and still look at things in a positive manner and not let that effect their ability to work and earn a living. 

As a responsible citizen, I would never point finger at them and make them uncomfortable. Instead, I would work towards making them happy by talking to them and conversing as an equal human. Building self confidence in them would be my most important responsibility towards them.

I wonder ,how do homeless people feel ? Where do they go at night ? Do they get basic facilities ? These children living on streets with no hope , no direction and no forgiveness but full of life. They have nothing , no bed ,no chair ,no TV ,no mobile to play games .

Homelessness in India ,today is a huge problem . These people roam barefooted day and  night at red lights selling balloons and other items , they work and make money ,they do whatever they want and lives a  less then simple but happy life ,lost in their own dreams and fantasies .We can take our initiative to carry our old clothes and blankets when we go outside and can give these things to the homeless people who are needy . we can also provide them with education to make their future bright and their life simple.

i wonder when we slip in our cozy quilts , 
how the homeless  people pass on the chilly night . 
i dress up daily for school sometimes happy and sometimes halfhearted but i do wonder are all so fortunate to have a routine of this kind ? 
when we switch on coolers on a hot summer day what do they do to avoid warm winds and sun so bright .
it is such a pleasant experience to see clouds pouring from the terrace of my house but is rain always so welcomed by the people who do not have shed over the head and whine....

It is said 'home sweet home'. Surely it is , with all the warmth and comforts it has. But I wonder do we all have one- a shelter and an abode to return at night. I wonder when we slip in our cozy quilts how the homeless people pass on the chilly night.

I dress up daily for school sometimes happy and sometimes halfhearted. But I do wonder, are all so fortunate to have a routine of the kind.

When we switch on the coolers on a hot summer day what do they do to avoid warm winds and sun so bright?

It is such a pleasant experience to see clouds pouring from the terrace of our house but is it always welcomed by the people who do not have shed over the head and whine…

We are so privileged to have a home. Think about those who don't have it. People who don't have roofs or wall who is going to protect them from harsh weather? Their lives are so difficult than us. They always seem to think Is life a challenge they need to face? They roam alone on the streets during day and night , hoping a home for themselves.
