During this last school year, I led an online program for our primary classroom in partnership with an in-person Lead Guide. I was the primary Guide for those students whose parents chose not to attend our onsite program due to virus concerns. Most students attended part-time online and part-time in person each week. The parents in our community recreated Montessori manipulatives, so every student had access to the same materials at home and at school. For high school, I attended Interlochen Arts Academy, an international boarding school for the arts to pursue my interest in creative writing. 
After high school, I worked with economically challenged children at an NGO in Casablanca, Morocco. I took an intensive course in the local Arabic language and used my previous studies in French and Spanish to help communicate with students and others in the community. I briefly attended George Washington University in Washington, D.C; however, while I enjoyed the city, the school was not a good educational fit. Returning to Nashville, I attended Middle Tennessee State University part-time while working as an Assistant Guide.
