         <description><![CDATA[<div>CBT Approach caused 'top down' stages; this means that the changes were firstly present at the cortex and then moved down to the brain stem. This is significant because changes in the cortex pertains to psychological effects while the brain stem is associated with physiological effects. For example, medication is "bottom up" changes, targeting physiological effects before reaching psychological effects.</div>]]></description>
