By burning these fuels massive amounts of greenhouse gases are released and they are destroying the ozone layer. By cutting down the trees, they then  aren't able to put oxygen back into the atmosphere, and when you cut down the trees and burn them you are releasing huge amounts of greenhouse gases back into the atmosphere. Since the population on Earth is increasing rapidly, more food needs to be grown. Also, being released with these greenhouse gasses are very harsh chemicals. These chemicals can also cause acid rain. Acid rain can cause great harm to ecosystems because the chemicals get into lakes and into the soil. This kills many plants and animals, this can also hurt humans. Sine the population is growing so fast, the amount of waste we are producing is also increasing.
