My students are already familiar with the use of Scratch. In the 9th year they were beginning to learn the Reported Speech when this situation (Covid 19) appeared. As this grammar item is not something they love studying, and as they are staying at home, I decided to tell them to use Scratch to learn the Reported speech rules. I told them to produce dialogues between two characters, where one tells the other what are the rules and the other has to give exemples to those rules. They are loving to produce those dialogues and as we are having some classes through Meet they share their screen and show the others the dialogues they have been producing. They are loving it and so something boring to learn, becomes funny.

I printed out CodyRoby cards and tried out with my friend. We really liked it. Definately gonna use this unplugged version with my class when our kindergarten opens up again.
Also I came up with an idea to use Lego Duplo bricks to build a board and use little bird as robot and this pile of corn as destination spot. The idea is to get familiar with giving orders step by step to reach the destination. These figures are more handy to toddlers´ tiny hands. :)

I participated with the students in a lesson "Healthy Eating", we talked about beneficial foods, vitamins and what to do to have a healthy and perfect body. I combined fashion with food and I got something I hope useful and beautiful!

I used the first two activities with my little children Dhia 8 and Maryam 6 ohh my god ... they were really excited and I was really impressed how they can learn simple coding or let's say instructions by such games. Cody-roby was the best one they said and I'm waiting for the lock-down to end and use these lesson plans and ideas with my pupils.
