“You shall not wrong a sojourner or oppress him, for you were sojourners in the land of Egypt.

By me kings reign, and rulers decree what is just; by me princes rule, and nobles, all who govern justly.

 “Do not oppress a foreigner; you yourselves know how it feels to be foreigners, because you were foreigners in Egypt.

“And when you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap your field right up to its edge, nor shall you gather the gleanings after your harvest. You shall leave them for the poor and for the sojourner: I am the Lord your God.”

[ Salvation for Others ] This is what the Lord says: “Maintain justice and do what is right, for my salvation is close at hand and my righteousness will soon be revealed. Blessed is the one who does this— the person who holds it fast, who keeps the Sabbath without desecrating it, and keeps their hands from doing any evil.” Let no foreigner who is bound to the Lord say, “The Lord will surely exclude me from his people.” And let no eunuch complain, “I am only a dry tree.”
i chose this verse because it is saying that you have to be careful of foreigners, because not all you will be able to trust. so don't let a foreigner deceive you.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. i chose this verse because in if you are lost, and you are in need of the Lord you can look at this verse and be reminded that God is with you throughout any journey you have. also because when many people where leaving their home country because of war, and other reasons they needed to be reminded that God is with them and that whatever happens he will guide us to the right path.
