I enjoy crafting of all sorts. Growing up, my grandmother and my mother did crafting from quilting to wooden jewelry to cross stitch and more. Today I do crafts like vinyl, charm bracelets, resin, etc. I can sew but am not very good and need to spend more time doing that. I would love to sew myself an entire outfit. - Maggie Moyers

My favorite childhood memory is my dad teaching my brother and I how to fish in our early years. It taught me value of hard work. Fishing isn't immediate gratification. Although it teaches you to stick with it and see it through.

When I was growing up, both sets of grandparents and my parents grew their own vegetables. I grew up in a neighborhood by Hobby airport called Garden Villas. The community was founded back in the 1940's with half acre lots allowing for plowed, in ground gardens. It was exciting to start from seed and see the end result. Too bad I didn't like vegetables as a child! I'd give anything to eat freshly picked garden vegetables today.
