2. The simply reason is we are human, we need each others, we interact, we work, and we all need network. thats why this is IMPORTANT.

1. face to face
2. connect with them on a social networking site

first we must smile, making a small talk, get their contact information
(after we introduce each other, making a small talk likes about their daily activities, or maybe about the conferences topic, etc)

after face to face meetings, we can follow up with them via email, social media. ask about their opinion about some daily news, and just make the communication keep on going, (try at least every month we have a communication with them)

Make sure that you pay attention to what he/she is talking about. After that, you ask for his/her social media so you can contact him/her anytime if you need. And also don't forget to give your hand when he/she needs your help (e.g: offering a ride or meal after the conference or maybe buying him/her a coffee).

2.  Face to face. Inviting a person for dinner but make a good communication and the right people. The difficult is the other person to inviting maybe will have a negative think to you. For example : Inviting some people for the same time or the person you are inviting may bring a friend that you can less the negative thinking.
