Being from a hot climate I am used to dressing with clothes according to the weather, that is, blouses of thin fabrics, jeans on special occasions, shorts or shorts, which allow the flow of air a little, living in Bogotá, I got used to dressing for the cold, that is, jeans, thick fabric shirts, jackets, jackets, among others.

The difference in shoes is also notorious, while in hot weather open shoes are used, in Bogotá closed shoes are used.

Eating habits

In eating habits, in Bogotá more processed food is eaten, the changes are very noticeable in terms of vegetables when going to Huila, where more healthy food is consumed so to speak, this due to the prices of food.

With this, my eating habits vary in Bogotá, I consume fewer vegetables and more food that I can keep in the fridge, in addition to heated food, in Huila, I can consume more food with a wide variety of vegetables, fruits are more varied.

The traditions in my home are based on the Huilenses, that is, the festivities in June/July for the festivities of San Pedro and San Juan, in addition to cooking to share tamales, custard, suckling pig, Christmas dinners, visiting towns where they are decorated in their entirety at Christmas with specific themes, in addition to speaking there are words that are only used in Huila, and with it the unmarked accent that I have. Additional in the day to day sometimes with small things in the kitchen or the order of some things in the house.

If I start with location it is evident that, on the part of the physical appearance by descent I am a mestizo of two cultures, being the indigenous and Spanish on the part of my great-grandparents.

According to the clothing, the use of ruanas when it is cold in the countryside stands out, this being very typical of the Andean Region, and the use of espadrilles for the parties, or when you are small in the celebrations of San Pedro in June/July, as well as the use of these representative costumes for these dates.

If I talk about gastronomy and what is eaten at home and what I know how to cook, the Andean Region is the best, since Ajiaco, tamales, arepas, mazamorra, and coffee is consumed daily, being mainly in the morning, considering that almost always a cup of Tinto is left throughout the day or dinner with this; and regarding traditions, I celebrate the Folkloric Festival and Reign of Bambuco in Neiva, a festival that is typical of the Andean Region.

With this I feel more part of the Andean Region.
