The Inuit, and the Aluet were connected to their land because the ways that they lived were the only ways they could. For example, they couldn't find mud, stick and leaves like in the Eastern Woodlands so they used snow for the housing. For clothing, they didn't have deer and beavers, but they had seals, otters, and caribou. the seal and otter skin was most commonly used because it kept them warm, and it was waterproof. This is how the Inuit, and Aluet tribes were connected to the land they lived in

Early Native American cultures connected to the land they lived on by using their resources. For example, they made their clothing from the hides of the animals they hunted. Also they used the rivers and lakes to fish ( salmon, trout, eels, etc.) and during winters, when lakes froze, ate dried fish. They used their plentiful forests to harvest edible plants, bulbs, and berries. They created their homes by constructing wooden poles which they gathered from the forest, then covering the poles with mats made of reed(a type of grass). This shows that early Native Americans connected to the land they lived on.

The Native American's live in a long house and a wigwam, In the wigwam they made a whole in the top of the wigwam so when they start the fire the smoke can get out of the wigwam and the wigwam was made out of grasses and trees. The long house was made out of trees and grasses like the wigwam and they were rectangular rather than round and made out of several families and a single opening at the front of the house could be closed against enemies.
