Out of desperation, Helen's mother, Kate Keller, looked for a tutor. Kate finally found a tutor for Helen. This tutor's name was, Anne Sullivan. Anne had a big struggle when trying to teach Helen how to speak with her hands. Anne got the idea to bring Helen to a small cottage on the Keller plantation. Anne was able to teach many things to Helen. Though not thoroughly explained on Google, Helen was a big part in Women's Rights.
