Durada: Llarg, curt. Intensitat: fort, fluix. Timbre: diferents instruments, diferents veus.
AMPLITUD D'ONA: determina la quantitat d'energia que conté.
EDICIÓ: és la opció que tenim per modificar, afegint contingut o treient-ne d'un video, audio...
SAMPLE:
PANORAMITZAR: col·locar sons un al costat del altre fins formar una extensió.
ENVOLVENTS DEL SO:
ADSR: Tipus d'estructura del so.
MONO: so definit en un canal.
ESTÈREO: significa que produeix el so per els dos costats (dreta i esquerra).
5.0, 5.1, etc.: Són sistemes de so que tenen 5 altaveus.
ENVOLVENTS DE VDEO:
Fade in: Apareix el so ascendent.
Fade out: Desapareix el so.
CROSSFADE: tècnica per conjuntar sons.
EFECTES D'AUDIO:
 Reverb (reverberació): rebot del so en un espai tencat que fa que les ones sonores siguin més fortes.
DELAY: Multiplicar i retardar la ona sonora.
