On a hiking trip that Judith and I took a little over a month ago, there was a lady who was coming down the trail being a little rude to Judith and for the next 20 minutes she got clearly frustrated. She wouldn't talk to me at all and kept trekking along, so I got frustrated too and told her she had thin skin (bad idea brothers). This made her even more angry with me and in the end we just had to apologize to each other and learn some better communication

Back in freshman year, i had a 9am CS class and we had a quiz somewhere around week 4. I overslept and woke up at 9, didn't even brush up, take out my contacts, but just grabbed my bike and pedaled all the way down to my class. Arrived at 9:15 and the teacher wouldn't show any mercy. I was furious at my teacher, complaining about my alarm, and I kept pouting the whole week. (Poor SCF). And because of my masochism, I prevented myself from eating to punish myself.

Beginning of this school year RE lost a few teachers adding on pandemic situation making RE classes more challenging (had to set up ZOOM, learn virtual tools etc).

Thank God due to the convenience of the internet we are able to ask for teachers from different churches to help out. (Like SD teachers!!!) Also able to combine students from different regions too (Denver Church)

We can also consider asking speaker coming to share special topics.

For the past weeks, I've been very "reactive" with my morning bible reading. When I wake up, the first thing in the morning isn't "lemme start the day with God's words!" but "hmmm what's my plan today? what messages did i get?". Even worse, these days these "morning bible readings" became afternoon readings and one time it almost became night readings. I think my attitude towards this has not been really good, and I really wish I can change it so that this habit would be something I do proactively, and not just barely making it.

I realize I was reactive in getting new K students set up with online RE classes-- parents approached me first rather than my reaching out to them. I also need to be proactive in asking for RE teachers from SD to help out with classes and stay connected to students

I was eating a restaurant and the waiter was being rude and inconsiderate to my friends and I. Started to complain and talk impatiently to him instead of showing love and concern. To be proactive is to be a bigger person and tame our tongues during times like these

I could have been proactive my recognizing that I was not the only one who did not want to do chores.

During this past fall quarter, I was very reactive to the covid situation . I was crying a lot and was brainstorming ways to get out of college. I was eventually depressed. It was to the point where I didn't want to practice flute. But thank God I am trying to finish college and hopefully graduate by end of Winter 2021.

However, it would be good to prepare for these unforeseen circumstances. Unforeseen things could also be trials to our faith.

Pudgy threw up this morning. I picked him up and ran to his pee pad to throw up...but it was half folded (since he hasn't thrown up for 10 months...I didn't check the pee pad to make sure it's ready), so he threw up half of his food on the carpet. My first reaction was to blame Daniel why he didn't help me.

Due to the tight schedule of project and the company relocation, our team has given a very limited time to accomplish both things. I realized I had started complaining about the managers along with my colleagues but does not realize it is not something I can control. So instead of just complaining might as well focus on the things I can do to help the situation.
