I used a pencil to shade the shapes in this artwork to make the shapes pop out. I have also used a lot of elements for my drawing like the shape of the bed, carpet, drawers and the design of the wall in the centre, line to demarcate the two-dimensional form and three-dimensional aspects of my drawing, I used space to create the depth in the carpet and the chair, texture to create the smoothness of the carpet and the blanket on the bed. I also used value to depict the lightness and the darkness of designs in the room.

I mostly used smooth shading. I shaded some areas dark and some areas light to show the different objects in the Kitchen. I found it challenging to draw the Island table in the middle as I could not make it look straight. I enjoyed the shading as I think that shading was the easiest part. Overall It was an interesting piece to draw.
